Osuma 30 mm Special Scope Mount for 30 mm

• Offset mounting concept: This special scope mount shifts the optic to the opposite side, helping a shooter continue using the same shoulder position after changing aiming eye.
• 30 mm to 30 mm compatibility: Built for 30 mm scope tubes and existing 30 mm mounts, it provides a straightforward way to adapt an established rifle setup without replacing the whole mounting system.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while maintaining the rigidity needed for a stable optic interface in regular hunting and range use.
• 0 MOA alignment: With 0 MOA inclination, the mount preserves a neutral scope position, making it suitable for general-purpose setups where no built-in cant is required.
• Made in Finland: Finnish design and manufacture reflect Osuma’s long focus on scope mounting solutions and practical shooting accessories.

About the Osuma Special Scope Mounts Series

Osuma Special Scope Mounts are built for a very specific practical need: helping shooters who must change their aiming eye but still want to keep their familiar shooting side and rifle handling. The series is intended for situations such as recovery after an accident, where relearning the entire shooting position may be unnecessary if the optic can instead be moved laterally. That makes the concept especially relevant for hunters and recreational shooters who already have an established rifle fit and muscle memory.

Within the Osuma lineup, this series stands apart from conventional fixed mounts because its purpose is not simply to hold a scope at the correct height, but to reposition the sight line so the rifle remains practical to use. The design attaches to existing scope mounts, which keeps the solution focused and mechanical rather than complicated. Listed variants cover both 25.4 mm and 30 mm scope tubes, and the series is associated with aluminium construction, which suits a mount that must remain strong without adding unnecessary bulk. In short, this family is aimed at shooters who need adaptation rather than a standard mounting arrangement.

About the Osuma 30 mm Special Scope Mount for 30 mm

The Osuma 30 mm Special Scope Mount for 30 mm is a purpose-built mounting solution for shooters who need to offset a riflescope from its normal centerline position. Its defining feature is the ability to work with a 30 mm scope tube while attaching to existing 30 mm mounts, creating a practical bridge between the rifle’s current setup and a changed aiming-eye requirement. Instead of forcing a complete change in shooting side, this mount allows the optic to be repositioned so the rifle can still be used in a familiar way.

That makes this model particularly relevant for hunting rifles and sporting rifles already fitted with 30 mm optics. Because the mount is made from aluminium, it keeps the assembly lighter than a steel alternative, which matters on rifles carried for long periods in the field. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the optic in a neutral orientation, so the mount is suited to general shooting distances without introducing additional cant into the setup. With no adjustable windage, the design stays simple and solid, which is often preferable in a specialist mount whose main job is to relocate the optic consistently. Finished in black and made in Finland, this model reflects a practical, workshop-driven approach to solving a very specific shooting problem.

About Osuma

Osuma is a Finland-based brand whose history goes back to the early 1990s, when its owner began developing scope mounts for his own hunting and benchrest shooting needs. That origin still defines the company’s direction today: its main expertise is rifle scope mounting, with a product range that includes scope mounts, scope rings, rail mounts, red-dot and holosight mounts, suppressors, and accessories such as the Trigger Widener. Osuma products are designed and manufactured in Finland, and the brand’s scope rings are known for their aluminium construction and anodized finish. The company has remained family-linked, having passed from father to son, and its catalog has grown to more than 150 products while staying closely tied to practical shooting use.
