Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch P2000

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The Meprolight Tru-Dot stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the sight picture is always available when ambient light is poor.
• Three-dot alignment: A clear 3-dot layout helps the eye center the front sight quickly, which supports faster sight acquisition on defensive and duty handguns.
• Steel construction: The steel body gives the sight set the durability needed for daily carry, repeated holstering, and regular range use.
• Fixed sight configuration: With a fixed setup, the sights keep the handling simple and robust, making them well suited to pistols carried for service or personal protection.
• Green tritium dots: The green aiming dots provide a familiar, high-contrast reference that is easy to pick up in transitional light where standard black sights can disappear.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built as a practical upgrade for shooters who want a sight picture that remains usable from bright daylight into low-light conditions. The series is designed to replace factory front and rear sights on compatible pistols, keeping the manual of arms familiar while improving visibility when iron sights matter most.

A defining feature of the series is its three-dot tritium sight picture, which gives the shooter a consistent reference in changing light without relying on batteries or switches. Within the Tru-Dot family, Meprolight offers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants, so the range covers straightforward carry pistols as well as more specialized handgun setups. Across the series, the emphasis is on simple alignment, dependable low-light visibility, and durable construction suited to regular carry, training, and defensive use. That makes Tru-Dot a natural fit for shooters who want traditional iron sights with a clearer aiming reference after dark.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch P2000

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch P2000 is a dedicated tritium night sight set made for shooters who want a more visible iron-sight system on this compact service pistol platform. Its fixed front and rear arrangement preserves the straightforward handling expected from a defensive handgun, while the self-illuminated design keeps the sights readable when black factory sights would be difficult to distinguish.

The practical advantage of this model lies in its green three-dot configuration. In daylight, the dots provide a familiar alignment pattern that is easy to interpret under stress. In dim interiors, dusk, or nighttime conditions, the tritium continues to present a visible aiming reference without any need for charging, activation, or battery replacement. That makes the sight set especially suitable for carry, home-defense, and duty-oriented use where the pistol may need to be brought into action immediately.

Its steel construction supports long-term durability on a working handgun, helping the sights withstand recoil, holster wear, and routine handling. The square rear sight gives a clean rear reference that pairs well with the front dot for quick centering, while the black finish keeps the overall appearance subdued. At 100.00 g, the sight set remains a compact upgrade focused on visibility, robustness, and dependable use on the Heckler & Koch P2000.
