Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock G26 & G27-Green

• Self-illuminated tritium dots: The three-dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive use at any hour.
• Consistent 3-dot alignment: The same dot layout is used in daylight and darkness, which helps maintain a familiar sight picture and speeds up target acquisition under stress.
• Steel construction: A steel sight body stands up to daily carry, repeated holstering, and hard use better than softer materials, helping the sights keep their shape and zero.
• Fixed sight setup: The fixed front and rear arrangement keeps operation simple and durable, making it well suited to carry pistols where reliability matters more than adjustment complexity.
• Glock 26 and 27 fitment: Built for these compact Glock models, this set offers a direct replacement for factory sights and upgrades low-light capability without changing the pistol’s handling.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that works in both daylight and darkness. In Meprolight’s current handgun range, the series includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height sights, giving it broad coverage for defensive carry, duty pistols, and specialized handgun setups. Across the family, the core idea remains the same: a three-dot sight picture that stays visually consistent as lighting changes, reducing the need to adapt to a different aiming reference at night.

The series uses tritium illumination, so the dots remain visible without batteries or switches. That matters on a carry pistol, where the sighting system needs to be immediately available rather than activated first. Tru-Dot models are also designed as replacement front and rear sights for specific handgun platforms, with versions available for pistols from multiple manufacturers. Some variants add windage and elevation adjustment, while others are configured for suppressor-height use or different tritium dot color combinations. The result is a practical pistol-sight family focused on durability, low-light visibility, and a familiar sight picture that supports fast, instinctive alignment.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock G26 & G27-Green

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock G26 & G27-Green is a compact pistol night-sight set built around the needs of concealed-carry and defensive Glock users. On subcompact pistols such as the Glock 26 and Glock 27, fast sight pickup is especially important because the shorter sight radius can make alignment feel less forgiving under pressure. This model addresses that with a green tritium 3-dot layout that remains visible in low light while preserving the same basic sight picture used in daylight. That consistency helps the shooter transition between lighting conditions without relearning the presentation.

The sight set uses a fixed front and rear configuration, which suits a carry handgun where snag resistance, simplicity, and dependable zero retention matter more than frequent adjustment. The square rear sight gives a clean reference around the front dot, helping the eye center the front sight quickly for close-range defensive shooting. Because the sights are made from steel, they are better prepared for routine holster wear, slide manipulation, and the knocks that come with daily carry than more fragile alternatives.

As a direct replacement sight set for the Glock 26 and 27 platform, this Tru-Dot model upgrades the pistol’s usability after dark without adding electronics, controls, or batteries. For shooters who rely on compact Glock pistols for personal protection, it offers a straightforward improvement in low-light aiming while keeping the handling and manual of arms unchanged.
