Lockdown Handgun Hanger

• Universal handgun fit: The Lockdown Handgun Hanger is shaped to hold a wide variety of pistols and revolvers, making it a practical way to organize mixed handgun collections inside a safe or vault.
• Door-mounted storage: By mounting on the inside of a vault door, it uses space that often goes unused and helps free shelf and floor room for long guns, ammunition, or other gear.
• Dual attachment options: Magnets for metal interiors and hooks for carpeted interiors make installation more flexible, so the hanger works with different safe layouts without forcing a permanent setup.
• Open-bottom wedge design: The barrel can protrude through the bottom while the rigid back panel and elastic bands support the handgun, helping keep it stable and easy to access.
• Compact safe organization: Designed for compact, medium-frame, and large-frame handguns, it improves visibility and separation between firearms so storage stays tidier and more efficient.

About the Handgun Hanger Series

The Lockdown Handgun Hanger series is built for firearm owners who want to make better use of the limited space inside a gun safe or vault. Within the Lockdown organization range, these hangers focus on a simple goal: moving handguns off shelves and onto otherwise unused interior surfaces, especially the inside of the vault door. That approach helps create a cleaner storage layout and leaves more room for long guns, documents, ammunition, or other accessories.

What defines this series is its emphasis on practical compatibility and straightforward installation. Rather than relying on a single mounting method, the design supports both metal and carpeted interiors, which makes it suitable for a broad range of safes. The structure combines a supportive back panel with elastic retention, giving the hanger enough shape to hold handguns securely while still accommodating different frame sizes. In use, the series is aimed less at display and more at efficient, accessible storage, making it well suited to owners who want a more orderly safe interior without adding bulky racks or fixed shelving.

About the Lockdown Handgun Hanger

The Lockdown Handgun Hanger is a compact safe-organization accessory designed to store a handgun on the inside of a vault door rather than on a shelf. That makes it especially useful in safes where shelf space is already crowded or where handguns tend to compete with long guns and other equipment. By shifting a pistol or revolver to the door, the hanger helps create a more efficient layout and keeps the firearm easier to see when the safe is opened.

Its wedge-shaped body uses an open-bottom design that allows the barrel to extend through the bottom, while elastic bands and a rigid back panel provide the support needed to keep the handgun in place. This layout is practical because it accommodates a range of handgun sizes without requiring a model-specific insert. Lockdown states that it fits most compact, medium-frame and large-frame handguns, which makes it a flexible option for mixed collections.

A key advantage is the Universal Attachment System. The hanger includes hooks for carpeted interiors and magnets for metal interiors, so it adapts to different safe constructions without forcing the owner into one mounting style. In day-to-day use, that means easier placement, simpler reconfiguration, and better use of vertical space. For handgun owners focused on orderly storage inside a safe, this accessory offers a clean and space-conscious solution.

About Lockdown

Lockdown is an American Outdoor Brands brand in the company’s Defender brand lane, with a focus on security and storage solutions for firearm owners. Its range covers practical products for organization, lighting, moisture control, and vault security, reflecting a specialization in how firearms and related gear are stored rather than in the firearms themselves.

The brand also develops products for monitoring and controlling humidity in firearm vaults and storage spaces, which is an important part of long-term protection for metal components, optics, and accessories. Lockdown’s broader system approach can also be seen in the Lockdown LOGIC app, which links compatible devices so one product can trigger actions in another. American Outdoor Brands is headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, United States, and Lockdown’s product line is built around making firearm storage more organized, controlled, and adaptable to different spaces.
