Levenhuk Karma PLUS 12x32

• 12x magnification in a compact format: The higher magnification helps pull distant details closer for wildlife observation, travel, and long-range viewing, while the 32 mm objectives keep the binocular easier to carry than a full-size model.
• Roof prism design: The Schmidt/Pechan roof prism layout keeps the body slim and easy to pack, making the binocular practical for active use where bulk matters.
• Fully multicoated optics: Multi-layer coatings improve light transmission and contrast, helping the image stay clearer and more usable in mixed light and over long observation sessions.
• Nitrogen-filled waterproof housing: The sealed construction helps resist rain and internal fogging, so the binocular remains dependable when conditions change outdoors.
• Central focus with diopter adjustment: Fast central focusing makes it easier to track changing distances, while the right-eye diopter adjustment helps match the binocular to the user’s eyesight.

About the Levenhuk Karma Plus Series

Levenhuk Karma Plus is an advanced compact binocular series introduced as part of the brand’s 2015 product-line renewal. The range spans 8x, 10x, and 12x models with 25 mm, 32 mm, and 42 mm objective lenses, giving users a choice between maximum portability and stronger reach. Within Levenhuk’s binocular lineup, Karma Plus sits above the standard Karma family, with more refined optics and ergonomics for users who want a compact binocular for regular field use rather than occasional casual viewing.

The series is built around roof prisms and a compact body shape intended for travel, hiking, and active outdoor observation. Levenhuk designed the line with BaK-4 glass optics, three-element eyepieces, and nitrogen-filled waterproof housings to support a clear image and dependable use in changing weather. The light-gray rubber-armored bodies are made to be easy to grip, and the series also accommodates individual eyesight adjustment and eyeglass use. In practice, Karma Plus binoculars are aimed at users who want a smaller binocular without giving up the handling and weather resistance expected from a more serious field optic.

About the Levenhuk Karma PLUS 12x32

Levenhuk Karma PLUS 12x32 is the longest-reaching compact model in this part of the series, combining 12x magnification with a 32 mm objective lens. That configuration suits users who need more detail at distance than an 8x or 10x binocular typically provides, whether for scanning open terrain, observing wildlife, or following distant landmarks while traveling. The trade-off is a narrower field of view and a smaller exit pupil, but the benefit is stronger image scale in a body that remains notably more compact than many full-size binoculars.

The optical system uses a roof prism design with fully multicoated lenses, helping preserve contrast and brightness for daytime outdoor use. A field of view of 81.20 m/1000m keeps the image manageable at this magnification, while the 4.00 m close focus still allows observation of nearer subjects when needed. The central focusing system is straightforward for general-purpose use, and the -4 / +4 diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece helps fine-tune the image to the user’s vision.

Mechanically, this binocular is built for field carry rather than shelf storage. The nitrogen-filled, waterproof and fogproof housing helps maintain internal clarity in damp or changeable weather, and the single-hinge body keeps the shape slim for packing. At 860.00 g, it is not an ultralight pocket binocular, but that extra substance can also make the binocular feel steadier in the hands when using 12x magnification, where control matters.

About Levenhuk

Levenhuk began operations in 2002, initially focusing on markets outside the United States. The company describes itself as an American manufacturer of optical instruments with headquarters in Tampa, Florida, while stating that its manufacturing facilities are in China. Its catalog covers a broad range of observation products, including binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, monoculars, and microscopes.

Within sport and field optics, Levenhuk offers several binocular families such as Atom, Karma, Sherman, and Vegas, giving the brand coverage from entry-level models to more advanced designs. The company also produces more specialized devices, including Fatum thermal scopes and Halo and Atom Digital night-vision devices. This broad product mix shows a focus on practical optical equipment across both traditional glass optics and electronic observation devices, which is relevant to users comparing compact binoculars with other field-ready viewing tools in the same brand range.
