Leica Battery Cover for All Fortis Riflescopes

• Spare battery on the scope: This battery cover stores an extra battery directly on compatible Fortis riflescopes, so a replacement is immediately available when illumination is needed in low light or changing conditions.
• Quiet handling: The design is intended for very silent operation, which helps when changing a battery in the field without adding unnecessary movement or noise at the rifle.
• Rugged aluminum construction: The aluminum body adds durability for regular hunting use and stands up better to knocks and abrasion than a more fragile cover design.
• Fast battery access: A rubber snap button makes battery removal easier, reducing fumbling when hands are cold, gloved, or wet.
• Fortis compatibility: Made for Leica Fortis riflescopes, it keeps the accessory matched to the scope platform for a neat fit and practical day-to-day use.

About the Leica Accesories Series

Leica Accesories brings together the supporting equipment that extends the practical use of Leica Sport Optics products in the field. Within the wider Leica lineup, this series covers the small but important components that improve handling, transport, mounting, and day-to-day usability for hunting optics and observation equipment. The range includes tripod-related equipment, adapters for binoculars and Rangemaster rangefinders, and purpose-built accessories developed around Leica’s own optical platforms.

The series reflects a design approach centered on field practicality, compact integration, and compatibility with specific Leica models rather than generic one-size-fits-all solutions. Some accessories are aimed at observation and digiscoping, while others support hunting optics by improving protection, carry comfort, or readiness in use. Across the series, Leica focuses on durable materials, straightforward operation, and accessories that complement the form and handling of the main optic. For users of Leica riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, and rangefinders, the Leica Accesories series is intended to solve small operational details that matter in real use outdoors.

About the Leica Battery Cover for All Fortis Riflescopes

The Leica Battery Cover for All Fortis Riflescopes is a compact riflescope accessory built to solve a simple but important field problem: keeping a spare battery immediately at hand. Mounted on compatible Leica Fortis models, it provides a dedicated place for an extra battery, which is especially useful on illuminated hunting optics where dependable reticle illumination matters at dawn, dusk, or in dense cover. Instead of carrying a loose spare in a pocket or pack, the battery stays with the scope where it is most likely to be needed.

Its aluminum construction gives the cover a solid, durable feel suited to regular hunting use, while the black finish keeps the appearance discreet and consistent with the riflescope. Leica also designed it for quiet handling, an important detail for hunters who want to avoid unnecessary noise when making adjustments in the field. The rubber snap button helps remove the battery more easily, which is a practical advantage when wearing gloves or working in poor weather. As a purpose-built Leica riflescope accessory rather than a generic add-on, it fits naturally into the Fortis system and adds convenience without changing the handling of the optic more than necessary.
