About the Paralow series

Paralow is one of the red dot sight series made by Holosun. On the outside, these small tube sights are very familiar to the Micro red dot sights made by the famous Swedish red dot sight manufacturing company. The illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery. The click value for the elevation and windage adjustments is 0.5 MOA. These durable red dot sights feature a single-piece housing made out of aluminum. Altogether, there are 12 illumination intensity levels to choose from, 2 of which are NVD compatible. The battery life is 50.000 hours.

About the model family

The 403 is one of the model families in the Paralow series. The first number '4' in its name suggests that it features a 2 MOA dot. The second number '0' implies that the product comes with standard accessories (without honeycomb filter, quick-release mount and flip-up lens covers).

About the product (HS 403 A)

HS403A is a red dot sight of the Paralow series.

The letter 'A' means that the battery compartment is located at the bottom of the device. The red dot sight features a unique mounting surface designed by Holosun which is not compatible with mounts made for Aimpoint Micro (devices from the Paralow series which do not have the letter 'A' in their name feature the same mount as Aimpoint Micro). Also, it lacks the solar panel, which is why this model has buttons for the regulation of illumination intensity on the top instead of on the side.

The product features the ShakeAwake function. When left powered on, the device will go from 'active mode' to 'sleep mode' after a while to prevent unnecessary battery drain. Once moved, it will power back on immediately.

Mounting details

These small tube sights come with a high mount for an AR platform (lower 1/3 co-witness) and a low mount for other mounting purposes (such as mounting on a rifle). All models in the Paralow series except the ones with the letter 'A' in their name have the same mounting platform as the Aimpoint Micro devices.

Warranty

The warranty is 5 years on the material and 3 years on the electronics.

After a few hunts together, I like the dot (mounted on CZ 7x57r/16 ) more and more, easy to use, fast shooting, resistance to drops -impacts, humidity, rain. So very easy to use and adjust the intensity of the dot illumination and the surprising accuracy of the dot is ridiculous compared to the price. I would say it is more than a top quality red dot, especially in relation to the price. For example

Po nekaj skupnih lovih, se mi pika (montirana na CZ 7x57r/16 ) čedalje bolj dopade, preprosta uporaba, hitro streljanje, odpornost na padce -udarce ,vlago , dež . Tako zelo preprosta uporaba ter nastavitev jakosti osvetlitve pike ter presenetljiva natančnost na le to, je primerjava z ceno smešna. Rekel bi da je več kot vrhunska rdeča pika, se posebaj razmerje z ceno. Priprocam

Excellent for the price Odličen za to ceno

For €200 I didn't expect top quality, but I have to admit that it serves me perfectly. It was easy to shoot and I have had no problems with it so far. Not in the cold and not in the rain either. It is also excellent to sight in.

Za 200 EUR nisem pričakoval ravno vrhunske kvalitete, a moram priznati, da mi služi odlično. Pristreliti ga je bilo enostvano in doslej z njim nisem imel težav. Ne na mrazu in tudi v dežju ne. Tudi meriti se da z njim odlično.
