About the Paralow series

Paralow is one of the red dot sight series made by Holosun. On the outside, these small tube sights are very familiar to the Micro red dot sights made by the famous Swedish red dot sight manufacturing company. The illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery. The click value for the elevation and windage adjustments is 0.5 MOA. These durable red dot sights feature a single-piece housing made out of aluminum. Altogether, there are 12 illumination intensity levels to choose from, 2 of which are NVD compatible. The battery life is 50.000 hours.

About the model family

The 503 is one of the model families in the Paralow series. The first number '5' in its name suggests that the user can switch between a 2 MOA dot and a 2 MOA dot surrounded by a 65 MOA circle. The second number '0' implies that the product comes with standard accessories (without honeycomb filter, quick-release mount and flip-up lens covers).

About the product (HS 503 GU)

Holosun 503 GU is a red dot sight of the Paralow series.

The letter 'G' means that the battery compartment of the red dot sight is on the right side of the device, under a round-shaped cover. Also, it lacks the solar panel, which is why this model has buttons for the regulation of illumination intensity on the top instead of on the side. The letter 'U' implies that the turrets of the device are shrouded and thus protected against potential blows.

The product features the ShakeAwake function. When left powered on, the device will go from 'active mode' to 'sleep mode' after a while to prevent unnecessary battery drain. Once moved, it will power back on immediately.

Mounting details

These small tube sights come with a high mount for an AR platform (lower 1/3 co-witness) and a low mount for other mounting purposes (such as mounting on a rifle). All models in the Paralow series except the ones with the letter 'A' in their name have the same mounting platform as the Aimpoint Micro devices.

Warranty

The warranty is 5 years on the material and 3 years on the electronics.

Price quality ratio is top

I had this for a few years now. Used on a CSA Vz58. Works flawlessly for intense sporting usage. Took rain, mud, snow, dust, bumps. Keeps zero. Never changed batteries. I don't really use the circle dot is sufficient. The only bad part is the mount, the screw broke on the first week of use, I changed it with scalar works (that cis as much as the holosun), no problem since then. Now changing it for a 403R GD (because I am curious of the gold dot), 503 will go on my Fabarm martial. Buy this, you will not regret.

excellent! clear point looking with one and with both eyes. in the range of the aimpoint micro h2, it even has some advantages compared to the aimpoint, such as automatic ignition after moving, which is a great advantage in hunting with a drive. price is realistic. recommendation to all future customers.

great odlicna

1. do not look at the dot in a closed space at a short distance. you will probably see unclear edges in the shape of a star, which is normal if you have good eyesight. shot. 3.extremely clean glass, without shadows on the edges and light refraction. definitely a pleasant surprise for this money and probably the best competition for aimpoint

I have a Holosan HS503gu and I have a problem with the circuit, the wheel works normally but the circuit doesn't, it worked normally for the first time and then after a few trips to hunt it started working only when I turn it up to the limit, as soon as I try to reduce the brightness it turns off, yes are there any settings for that or is it a fault of the device itself, I would like some advice or a service is needed, thanks. The circle around the point is lost and that function cannot be reset, it only appears when I turn the point all the way up, have you had such experiences and is there a way to restart that function in some other way than the standard one

Izgubio se krug oko tocke i ne moze da se ponovno postavi ta funkcija, jedino se pojavi kad pojacam do kraja tocku, da li ste imali takvih iskustava i postoji li nacin da se ta funkcija ponovno pokrene na neki drugi način osim standardni

Unfortunately, we have not yet encountered such a problem with Holosun red dots. It is obvious that this is a red dot error and needs to be fixed.

Na žalost se s takšnim problemom pri rdečih pika Holosun še nismo srečali. Očitno je, da gre za napako rdeče pike in je potrebna popravila.
