Henneberger HMS Swift Mount for Sauer 303, 26 mm

1. Precision Engineering in Germany: Each Henneberger HMS Swift mount is CNC-machined in Germany from a single block of high-strength aluminium, ensuring exceptional precision and reliability. This meticulous manufacturing process guarantees a perfect fit and consistent performance.

2. Low-Profile ISI Standard: This mount is specifically designed for the Sauer 303's unique ISI rail (found on pre-2019 models). The ISI standard provides one of the lowest mounting surfaces possible, allowing for quick target acquisition and a comfortable cheek weld, which is highly valued by driven hunt enthusiasts.

3. 100% Repeatable Quick-Detach: Featuring a highly reliable quick-detach (QD) mechanism, the Henneberger HMS Swift mount allows for swift and tool-free removal and reinstallation of your scope without loss of zero. This 100% repeatability is essential for hunters who need to adapt their optics to changing conditions or rifle setups.

4. Robust and Lightweight Construction: Crafted from durable aircraft-grade aluminium, this mount offers impressive strength and rigidity while keeping the overall weight to a minimum (typically under 200 grams). The anodised finish provides superior resistance to corrosion and wear, ensuring longevity even in demanding outdoor environments.

SAUER 303 ISI VS SUM MOUNTING STANDARD

The ISI rail on pre-2019 Sauer 303 rifles is a unique, low-profile surface with Picatinny-identical recoil notches for simple, 100% repeatable installation and removal, contributing to accuracy but prone to minor aesthetic lever marks on the aluminium action (no functional impact). From 2019, Sauer unified with the SUM Universal Mount—elegant and built into the action for sniper-like robustness, supporting diverse rails (LM, Zeiss ZM/VM, Swarovski SR, Schmidt & Bender Convex) and rings (25.4 mm-40 mm). SUM offers quick target focus without head lift and competes with Picatinny in reliability, made by Sauer, MAK, INNOmount, and Henneberger. The transition may confuse buyers with mixed-market models, but SUM's advancement makes it preferable for new rifles.
