EAW Roll off Rings TX Screw, 19mm dovetail, CZ 550, 30mm

• 19 mm dovetail fit for CZ 550: Built for the rifle’s native dovetail, this ring set gives a direct, model-specific interface that helps keep installation clean and mechanically secure.
• Roll-off design: The EAW roll-off system is made for shooters who want a detachable scope setup, so the optic can be removed when needed and returned to the rifle with a repeatable mounting position.
• 30 mm ring diameter: The rings accept a wide range of modern riflescopes with 30 mm main tubes, making the mount suitable for many hunting and general-purpose optics.
• Aluminium construction: Aluminium keeps weight down without giving up the rigidity needed in a riflescope mount, which is useful on a field rifle carried over longer distances.
• 17.50 mm height: This ring height helps position the scope at a practical level above the action, supporting a balanced sight line while preserving a compact overall setup.

About the EAW Series

EAW roll-off mounts are designed as a practical detachable mounting solution for hunters and sporting rifle users who want the advantages of a removable optic without moving to a bulky tactical-style system. Within the EAW lineup, the roll-off pattern sits alongside the company’s pivot and claw mounts, offering a more economical and mechanically straightforward option for rifles that benefit from a light, low-profile scope installation.

The series is defined by model-specific fit, a strong emphasis on repeatable positioning, and compatibility with many common European hunting rifles. In use, that makes the system well suited to rifles that may alternate between scoped and open-sight use, or to owners who value easy removal for transport, storage, or maintenance. EAW’s design approach focuses on precise machining, durable all-metal construction, and close integration with the rifle’s receiver geometry. The result is a mount family aimed at shooters who prioritize a tidy installation, dependable alignment, and the traditional handling qualities expected from classic hunting optics setups.

About the EAW Roll off Rings TX Screw, 19mm dovetail, CZ 550, 30mm

The EAW Roll off Rings TX Screw, 19mm dovetail, CZ 550, 30mm is a dedicated riflescope mounting solution for the CZ 550 platform with a 19 mm dovetail. Its main advantage is that it is not a universal ring set adapted to fit many rifles; it is built around the receiver interface of this specific action pattern. That gives the mount a cleaner fit and helps maintain the consistent alignment a scoped hunting rifle depends on.

The 30 mm ring diameter makes it suitable for many modern hunting optics, especially scopes with larger internal adjustment assemblies and brighter low-light configurations than older 1-inch designs. The 17.50 mm height keeps the optic close to the bore while still providing the clearance needed for an appropriate scope position, which supports a natural cheek weld and steady sight picture in field shooting positions.

Its aluminium construction reduces unnecessary weight, an important detail on a rifle intended to be carried for long periods. The roll-off format also suits shooters who want a detachable optic arrangement for transport or for switching the rifle between different sighting setups. Finished in black, the mount matches the restrained appearance expected of a traditional sporting rifle while keeping the focus on secure scope support and practical day-to-day use.

About EAW

EAW traces its history to 1919, when Ernst Apel founded the company in Würzburg, Germany. The EAW name came into use after the acquisition of Elektro-Dental-Werke Frankfurt in 1923, and the company later turned its engineering focus toward sporting optics mounting systems. EAW produced its first riflescope mounts in 1945, and since 1951 mount development and production have been its core business.

Today, the company is based in Eibelstadt, Germany, following an earlier production move to Gerbrunn in 1970. EAW is known for making pivot mounts, roll-off mounts, and claw mounts for riflescopes, with a product range centered on precise mechanical fit and repeatable optic attachment. That long specialization in scope mounting is what makes EAW a familiar name among shooters looking for traditional European hunting mounts as well as more recent tactical mounting solutions.
