This Docter model 8x56 ED/OH is a model ideal for low-light observations in densely wooden areas. It offers outstanding ergonomics, optics and protection. Open-hinge design offers you comfortable wrap-around grip and helps you to adjust the focus at the same time with grippy central focus knob. You can eliminate any differences in eyesight by right-eye diopter. Brilliant images are also the result of ED (extra-low dispersion) glass that helps to eliminate internal reflections and chromatic aberration and DOCTERmultitop broadband coating on all surfaces that repels water and other solid particles. View through is incredibly bright, colorful with a rich contrast and sharpness from edge to edge. 8x56 ED model has also very good protective ability with nitrogen gas filling and tight seals. Housing is waterproof and fog-proof enclosed in rugged rubber for proper grip and protective against impacts and abrasions. You can take them with you when facing the most challenging terrain and weather and never have to worry that the rain or even hurricane may damage them. Eyepieces are rubberized and have click-stop multiposition setting ideal for spectacle wearers. Due to its heaviness it’s highly recommended mounting them to a tripod to eliminate shaky images. Field of view is quite generous and helps you to follow moving objects.

Short Description of Docter ED Binoculars

Docter ED binoculars comes with very lightweight 8x42, 10x42 and low-light 8x56 configurations. These perfect binoculars for hunting, bird watching and other wildlife observations are build using the best materials and optics. Special ED (extra-low dispersion glass) and Docter multitop coatings on glass surfaces enhances light transmission rate and reduces flare and chromatic aberrations with brilliant look through free of distortions. Rugged rubber armoring is very thick and protects the construction against impacts and shock. They are also comfortable to handle with the help of open bridge design and non-slip grip. Docter ED binoculars have other protective features, such as waterproof and fog-proof ability due to nitrogen gas filling and tight seals. You can also submerge them to a water depth of 1 meter since they are impervious to water dust and other particles. These binoculars are suitable even for glass wearers with multi-positioned click-stop setting. You can also mount them to a tripod for steadier images. Focusing is adjusted with grippy smooth central focus wheel and right-eye diopter that eliminates differences in eyesight.

Low light binoculars

I was really glad that Docter started production of these binoculars since I search for years a high quality 8x56 binoculars with abbe-koenig prism that are afordable for years. I was not desapointed since it is bright, sharp and great for use. It is big but the optics is good enough I can hadle the weight. I can rocommend it to anyone who is looking for a low light binoculars.
