Discovery Optics Dovetail 25.4 mm Rings

• 25.4 mm / 1 inch scope fit: Built for classic 1 inch riflescope tubes, these rings provide a direct and secure interface without inserts or adapters, helping maintain consistent alignment on rimfire and small-bore setups.
• Dovetail-rail attachment: The two-piece dovetail design fits a wide range of rifles with 11 mm and 3/8 inch style rails, making it a practical choice for common training, hunting and target platforms.
• 0 MOA alignment: A neutral mounting angle keeps the optic centered in a standard configuration, which suits general-purpose zeroing and avoids adding unnecessary cant to shorter- and medium-range rifles.
• Black finish: The subdued finish keeps reflections low and gives the rings a clean match with most riflescopes and actions used for sporting or field rifles.
• Fixed ring construction: A simple non-extended layout keeps the mount compact and straightforward, reducing extra bulk while giving a stable base for everyday use.

About the Discovery Optics Mounts Series

Discovery Optics Mounts is the accessory line in the DISCOVERYOPT catalogue dedicated to practical scope installation across common sporting and shooting platforms. The series covers scope rings and mounts for both dovetail-groove rails and Picatinny interfaces, giving shooters matching solutions for traditional rimfire rifles, training rifles and modern centerfire setups. Within the range, Discovery Optics offers dovetail-ring versions for 25.4 mm, 30 mm and 34 mm tubes, alongside separate multi-compatible mounts for users who need broader fit options.

The design approach is straightforward: compact mounting hardware, familiar ring formats and configurations that suit the scope tube sizes most often found on hunting optics and target optics. The dovetail models use a two-piece design, which helps keep the rifle balanced and leaves room around the action compared with a one-piece bridge mount. In the wider series, Discovery Optics also lists mounts made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, showing the line’s focus on practical durability rather than unnecessary complexity. For shooters choosing between rail standards and tube diameters, the series is built to make scope matching simple and predictable.

About the Discovery Optics Dovetail 25.4 mm Rings

The Discovery Optics Dovetail 25.4 mm Rings are a fixed two-piece mounting solution for riflescopes with a 25.4 mm (1 inch) tube on dovetail-equipped rifles. This format is especially useful on rimfire and small-caliber rifles that commonly use 11 mm or 3/8 inch style dovetail rails, where a compact ring set is often the cleanest way to mount a traditional hunting or target scope. Because the rings attach directly to the rifle’s dovetail rather than through an added rail section, the setup stays simple and avoids unnecessary height or extra parts.

The mount uses a 0 MOA configuration, which makes sense for general shooting distances where a neutral scope position is preferred. For plinking, small-game hunting and target work, that helps keep the optic installation straightforward and avoids introducing cant intended for specialized long-range use. The KR 0.0 mm extension also means the rings keep the scope in a conventional position, which suits rifles and optics that already offer adequate eye-relief placement without offset hardware.

In practical use, the value of these rings is compatibility. They are intended for a broad range of dovetail-based actions, including platforms such as the CZ 457, Tikka T1x, Sako Quad and other rifles with 11 mm, 3/8 inch or similar flat-top dovetail arrangements. Finished in black, they visually match most riflescopes and maintain a low-profile appearance on sporting rifles.

About Discovery Optics

Discovery Optics, presented by DISCOVERYOPT, states that it was established in 2009 and lists its main operations in Bao'an, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The company focuses on rifle scopes for shooting and hunting, while also offering electro-optical sighting devices and thermal imaging products for field use. Its riflescope range includes series such as XED, ED, LHD and HD, showing a product catalogue that spans general sporting optics through to more specialized configurations.

Within the riflescope category, Discovery Optics offers models with both first-focal-plane and second-focal-plane reticles, which reflects a broad approach to different shooting styles rather than a single niche. That same practical product philosophy carries into its accessories, including rings and mounts designed to support common tube diameters and rail standards used on hunting optics and target rifles.
