Dentler Dural mount, 30 mm Product description

  • Modular BASIS compatibility: This mount is built for the Dentler BASIS interface, so the optic rail and the rifle base work as one repeatable system. That makes it practical for hunters who remove and reinstall an optic without wanting to disturb their established setup.
  • 30 mm ring format: The 30 mm configuration fits a wide range of modern riflescopes, giving a secure and purpose-built mounting solution for common hunting optics without adapters.
  • Aluminium Dural construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down compared with steel alternatives, which helps maintain better rifle balance on stalking and driven hunts while still providing a rigid platform for the scope.
  • Repeatable detachable design: As part of Dentler’s repeatable mounting concept, the mount is made for quick removal and reattachment with consistent positioning. In practice, this supports easier transport, optic changes and access to the rifle when needed.
  • Made in Germany: German manufacture and Dentler’s focus on dedicated hunting mounting systems give this mount a precise fit and a clean mechanical layout suited to regular field use.

About the Dentler Dural Mounts Series

Dentler Dural Mounts are the aluminium ring-module option within the company’s modular BASIS mounting system for hunting rifles. The series is intended for shooters who want the flexibility of a detachable optic mount while keeping overall weight lower than with steel ring modules. In the Dentler lineup, these mounts sit alongside other BASIS-compatible optic rails and use the same modular idea: a rifle-specific base remains on the firearm, while the optic-mounted assembly can be detached and reattached as part of the system.

A defining characteristic of the series is its cross-compatibility with BASIS and BASIS VARIO bases, which makes the platform useful for hunters building around one mounting standard. Dentler offers ring modules in different tube diameters and heights, so the Dural line can be matched to a broad range of riflescopes and rifle setups. The design philosophy is straightforward: keep the optic mount practical, repeatable and easy to integrate into a wider modular system. For users who value a lighter optic-side assembly without moving away from the Dentler ecosystem, the Dural series fills that role clearly.

About the Dentler Dural mount, 30 mm

The Dentler Dural mount, 30 mm is a complete optic-side mount for riflescopes with a 30 mm tube, built around Dentler’s detachable hunting-mount concept. Its main advantage is that it combines a common scope tube format with the modular Dentler interface, making it a sensible choice for hunters who want to move within the BASIS system rather than rely on a fixed one-piece installation. When paired with a compatible Dentler base, it forms part of a mount arrangement designed for repeatable removal and reattachment.

The use of aluminium is central to this model’s character. It reduces weight on the optic side of the rifle, which can make the firearm feel less top-heavy and easier to carry over long distances. That matters especially on rifles used for active hunting, where balance and handling often matter as much as raw strength. The black matte finish also suits practical field use by keeping the appearance subdued and pairing easily with modern riflescopes and hunting rifles.

Because this version is made specifically for the Dentler Mounts Interface below and a 30 mm scope above, it is best understood as a dedicated system component rather than a generic ring set. Its role is to give the scope a secure, properly matched connection to the Dentler platform, while preserving the modular logic that makes the system attractive for users who may run different optics or prefer a detachable setup for transport and handling.

About Dentler

Dentler Jagdwaffen was founded in 2011 by Daniel Dentler and is based in Leutkirch im Allgäu, Germany. The company focuses on modular riflescope mounting systems for hunting firearms, with its main product families being BASIS and BASIS VARIO. Dentler’s approach centers on separating the rifle-specific base from the interchangeable optic mounting rail, creating a system that supports repeatable optic changes within one mounting standard.

The company is particularly known for its broad compatibility across hunting rifles and optics. Dentler offers mounting rails for formats including Aimpoint, Pulsar, Swarovski, Zeiss and Weaver/Picatinny, and it lists firearm-specific base rails for many established rifle makers. Within this product category, Dentler’s reputation rests on practical modularity: giving hunters a structured way to combine rifles, optics and mounts without abandoning a consistent interface.

Hi there,

Does the BH stated (12mm, 15mm or 18mm) factor in the height of the base rail also (i.e. giving the total BH of the combined setup)?

Thanks

by Nicholas Riley

Dear Sir!

Yes, the stated BH height (12 mm, 15 mm, or 18 mm) includes the height of the base rail. It represents the total height of the complete mounting setup.

Kind regards,

Hi there,
Could you tell me which BH height to choose for a 50mm scope (GPO 4-16X50 Spectra) with BASIS for a Tikka T3x?
Thank you

by Simon

Dear Sir!

We would recommend the BH 15mm due to the belly under the turrets on the GPO Spetra 4-16x50.

Hi, I would like to make a switch to Dentler's mounts. I have a Merkel Helix Speedster in .308 with a long barrel and Hausken XTRM MKII 60 as a suppressor. My scopes are: Pard DS35-70 I shot with a suppressor Vortex PST II 1-6x24 I shot without suppression on driven hunts only. I struggle sometimes with LRF on Pard with the mounts I received with Pard and it's pretty high. I want to change the suppressor for something with less diameter. Can you help me with Dentler mounts for these 2 scopes? I guess for the Pard I need the highest whereas for Vortex I need the lowest.

by Optics Trade team

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

First of all, Dentler mounts are top-of-the-line, and practically one of the best on the market. Considering the optics you will mount we have to specify that you shouldn't face any trouble in terms of height with the PST Gen II riflescope, however in the case of PARD, please note that with Dentler it will sit extremely high, especially with a mount for a Picatinny rail.

If you wish, you can contact us directly at [email protected] for greater details regarding these mounting options.

I am looking at buying Dentler mounts for my Blaser R8 Pro success. I have two barrels (308 and 6.5X55). I want to use an S&B T96 Polar 50mm on LMZ rail and a Pulsar Digex C50. What height do I need for the C50 30mm mounts? 12mm, 15mm or 18mm. I think that I need to buy four items from you. One Basis mount for R8, one Vario mount for R8, one Dural mount for LVM/Zeiss rail and one Dural 30mm. Is that correct do you think? (I don't need steel, because of the calibre size Dural will suffice, I think). I do have BDC/ASV on my S&B and the C50 has the ability to save profiles. Could windage vary between the two R8 barrels? If it was only elevation, I could adjust my S&B T96 scope with the ASV between barrels and I wouldn't need a Vario, saving a substantial amount.

by Andrew

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

For a Pulsar Digex, you will require the highest possible Dentler mount in order to avoid the bottom part of the Digex (where the turrets are located) to touch the base on the Dentler. The windage should not vary that much in the case of hunting. Your product setup is correct, according to your description.

I have a Benilli R1 rifle with a Dentler basis mount on it. I want to mount a Meopta optika 6 with 44mm objective, what would be the minimum height ring mount I could use 12mm or 15mm. Thanks William

by william

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

Based on the data provided, you should be able to use the 12mm BH height without trouble. This would also be the lowest possible mounting option for the Dentler Dural mount.

Should you need any further assistance, feel free to contact us anytime at [email protected]

what is the difference between steel moun and dural mount for dentler? and it vill fit with Browning Nomad base?

by Gunnar

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your inquiry. We sincerely apologize for the delayed reply, which is a result of the increased demand for our services.

The difference between a dural mount and a steel mount is just in the material. In order to advise you whether or not this mount will fit on your Browning rifle, we kindly ask you to tell us which model of the rifle you have and for which caliber is it chambered.

This Dentler mount that you are referring to will still require a Dentler base for the Tikka T3 rifle in order to work.

You can take a look at the base on the page below.
