Dentler Base rail BASIS - CZ 527

• Firearm-specific fit: This Dentler BASIS base rail is matched to the CZ 527 and related 16.5 mm CZ/Brno interface, giving a secure foundation without improvised adapters.
• Modular BASIS interface: The rail works with the Dentler Mounts Interface, so the rifle can be paired with different optic-side mounting rails within the same system.
• Steel construction: A steel body adds the rigidity needed for a stable optic platform and long service life under repeated mounting and field use.
• Matte black finish: The black matte surface keeps reflections low and gives the base a discreet appearance on a hunting rifle.
• Built for repeatable mounting: As part of the Dentler BASIS concept, the base stays on the rifle while the optic assembly can be removed and reattached in a consistent, system-based way.

About the Dentler Steel Mounts Series

Dentler Steel Mounts are the steel-bodied branch of Dentler’s BASIS mounting family, developed for hunters who want a modular optic setup built around a rifle-specific base and a separate optic-side mounting rail. Within the Dentler lineup, this series sits at the core of the company’s interchangeable mounting concept: the base rail remains on the firearm, while the upper mounting rail stays with the optic. That layout makes it easier to move between different sighting solutions without replacing the entire mounting arrangement.

The series is designed around steel construction and a clamping concept that uses steel crossbars and a locking pin for a firm mechanical connection. Dentler positions BASIS and BASIS VARIO as mounting systems for hunting rifles, with BASIS focused on a repeatable, play-free interface and BASIS VARIO adding continuous adjustment at the base level. Across the series, compatibility is broad, covering ring mounts, Weaver/Picatinny solutions and model-specific interfaces for major optic brands. In practice, Dentler Steel Mounts suit shooters who want one mounting standard across several optics or rifles while keeping the handling straightforward and the connection mechanically consistent.

About the Dentler Base rail BASIS - CZ 527

The Dentler Base rail BASIS - CZ 527 is the rifle-side element of the Dentler modular mounting system, made specifically for the CZ 527, BRNO CZ 527 and related 16.5 mm CZ/Brno interface. Its role is simple but important: it provides the fixed, firearm-specific platform that allows a compatible Dentler optic mount to lock into place in a controlled and repeatable way. For a hunting rifle such as the CZ 527, that matters because the base can remain on the rifle while the optic assembly is removed for transport, storage or a change of sighting setup.

The practical advantage of this model lies in its place within the Dentler BASIS system. Instead of treating the mount as a one-piece, rifle-specific dead end, Dentler separates the rifle connection from the optic connection. That means this base rail can serve as the foundation for different compatible upper rails, whether the rifle is being set up with a conventional riflescope or another supported optic format within the Dentler ecosystem. The steel construction supports a rigid interface, while the black matte finish keeps the installation visually discreet. For shooters using a CZ 527 platform, this base is a clean way to bring the rifle into a modular mounting standard without giving up a model-specific fit.

About Dentler

Dentler is a German specialist in modular riflescope mounting systems for hunting firearms. The company, formally Dentler Jagdwaffen, was founded in 2011 by Daniel Dentler and is based in Leutkirch im Allgäu, Germany. Its best-known product families are BASIS and BASIS VARIO, both built around the idea of separating the rifle-side base from the optic-side mounting rail.

This approach has made Dentler particularly relevant to hunters who use more than one optic or want a standardized mounting method across different rifles. The company offers rails and interfaces for a wide range of firearm makes and for optics in formats such as Aimpoint, Pulsar, Swarovski, Zeiss and Weaver/Picatinny. Dentler’s reputation in this category rests on modularity, repeatable mounting and a system architecture designed specifically for practical field use rather than generic one-size-fits-all solutions.
