Aimpoint COA R

• Ultra-Compact Rifle Red Dot: The Aimpoint COA R is a fully enclosed, tubeless reflex sight developed specifically for hunting and sporting rifles, delivering an exceptionally wide field of view with minimal visual obstruction.
• Optimized for Fast Rifle Shooting: Featuring a crisp 3.5 MOA red dot and an ultra-low-profile design, the COA R enables rapid target acquisition with both eyes open, making it ideal for driven hunts, moving targets, and instinctive shooting situations.
• Innovative A-CUT Mounting System: The COA R utilizes Aimpoint’s A-CUT mounting interface, combined with dedicated rifle adapter solutions for MICRO-compatible mounts. The system provides exceptional stability and repeatable zero retention, even under heavy recoil.
• 5-Year Continuous Runtime: Powered by a standard CR2032 battery, the COA R offers up to 50,000 hours of constant-on operation. The side-mounted battery tray allows battery replacement without removing the optic from the rifle.
• Built for Harsh Hunting Conditions: The enclosed high-strength aluminum housing protects the optic from rain, snow, mud, dust, and recoil stress. The COA R is submersible to 5 meters and engineered for reliable field performance in demanding environments.

ABOUT THE COA R SERIES

The Aimpoint COA R series expands the COA platform into the world of rifle optics, bringing the same enclosed-emitter reliability and ultra-compact design philosophy to hunting rifles and sporting carbines.

Unlike traditional tubular red dot sights, the COA R features a tubeless open-view design with an extremely thin frame, maximizing situational awareness and peripheral vision. The optic was specifically engineered for hunters and shooters who require speed, clarity, and minimal visual obstruction during dynamic shooting scenarios.

The COA R was designed around the new A-CUT mounting solution, which mechanically locks the optic into the mount using a full-length dovetail, front hook, and rear wedge system. This innovative interface minimizes movement under recoil while reducing stress on mounting screws.

ABOUT THE MODEL (AIMPOINT COA R)

The Aimpoint COA R is a rifle-optimized 3.5 MOA enclosed red dot sight built for fast target acquisition at close and intermediate distances. Its compact dimensions and lightweight construction — weighing only approximately 48 grams — make it particularly well suited for modern lightweight hunting rifles and driven-hunt setups.

The optic provides an unobstructed sight picture thanks to its ultra-thin tubeless housing design. This allows shooters to maintain excellent peripheral vision and rapid target tracking with both eyes open, especially when shooting moving game or engaging targets quickly.

The COA R offers 12 brightness settings, including 4 night vision-compatible modes and 8 daylight settings. The tactile side-mounted controls are easy to operate even with gloves, while the flush-mounted adjustment screws provide audible and tactile clicks for precise zeroing.

The sight uses a side-access CR2032 battery compartment, enabling battery replacement without removing the optic from the rifle or losing zero. The enclosed construction protects the emitter from environmental contamination while maintaining a streamlined overall footprint.

To support rifle compatibility, Aimpoint developed dedicated A-CUT adapter plates for MICRO interfaces, allowing the COA R to be mounted on a wide range of existing Aimpoint MICRO-compatible mounts and rifle platforms.
