Aimpoint 9000

• Full-length 30 mm tube design: The extended body suits rifles with standard- or magnum-length actions and gives ample room for a stable two-ring mounting setup.
• Illuminated 1x aiming point: The illuminated dot supports fast target acquisition with both-eyes-open shooting, which helps on moving game and short-to-medium hunting distances.
• Compact weight of 230.00 g: Low weight keeps the rifle well balanced and reduces the penalty of adding an optic to a traditional hunting setup.
• Fully multicoated optics: Coated lenses help preserve contrast and brightness, making the sight picture easier to read in mixed light and against dark backgrounds.
• Rugged all-weather construction: Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction with nitrogen filling supports dependable use in rain, cold mornings and hard field handling.

About the Aimpoint 9000 Series

The Aimpoint 9000 series is a long-running family of tube-style red dot sights built for hunters who prefer a traditional riflescope-like form factor combined with the speed of a non-magnified aiming system. Within Aimpoint’s lineup, it sits as a practical hunting-focused option that keeps the company’s established red dot principles in a familiar 30 mm tube format. The series shares the Comp-based construction and uses an extended rear tube for two-ring mounting, which makes it especially suitable for conventional bolt-action rifles and other firearms that benefit from flexible ring placement.

The range includes short and full-length versions with 2 MOA or 4 MOA dots, allowing shooters to choose between a more compact setup or a longer body for standard- and magnum-length actions. Aimpoint designed the series around mechanical dot-intensity adjustment and left- or right-handed adaptability, keeping operation straightforward in the field. In practice, the 9000 series appeals to hunters who want fast target acquisition, generous mounting compatibility and the familiar handling of a classic tube sight rather than a compact micro-style optic.

About the Aimpoint 9000

The Aimpoint 9000 is a 1x full tube red dot sight built around fast, instinctive aiming on hunting rifles. Its long 200.00 mm body works particularly well on rifles that use a traditional two-ring mounting arrangement, giving more freedom to position the sight correctly on the receiver. That makes it a natural fit for classic hunting setups where balance, mounting security and a conventional profile matter as much as speed.

The illuminated dot is intended for rapid target acquisition rather than magnified precision work. On driven hunts, woodland stalking or any situation where targets may appear suddenly, a bright aiming point helps the eye settle quickly without the need to align front and rear sights. The sight is listed with daytime-usable illumination, so the aiming point remains visible in strong daylight as well as in dimmer conditions around dawn or dusk. With 12mm/100m click adjustment, zeroing remains straightforward and repeatable.

Its 30 mm tube fits common ring-based mounting solutions, while the 230.00 g weight keeps the rifle from becoming top-heavy. Fully multicoated lenses support a clear, usable image, and the nitrogen-filled housing is built to stay operational through temperature swings from -30 °C / +60 °C. Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction further suits the sight to hard field use, where weather, recoil and rough transport are part of normal hunting conditions.

About Aimpoint

Aimpoint AB was founded in February 1975 in Malmö, Sweden, and the company specializes in red dot sights for hunting, sport shooting and professional users. Aimpoint’s place in this category is closely tied to the launch of the Aimpoint Electronic in 1975, recognized as the world’s first commercial red dot sight. That early start established the company’s long-standing focus on practical, non-magnifying aiming systems rather than a broad optics catalog.

Today, Aimpoint remains identified with dedicated red dot development across compact, hunting and duty-oriented product lines. Its range includes the Hunter series for traditional sporting rifles, the Micro series for hunters seeking a smaller sight, and the Acro series of enclosed pistol sights introduced in 2018. For products like the 9000, that specialization matters because the company’s design work centers on durability, simple operation and fast target acquisition in real field conditions.
