UTG OP3 3-12x44

• Compact 3-12x44 format: The 3x to 12x magnification range covers everything from short-range zeroing and small-game work to more deliberate target shooting, while the compact body helps keep rifle handling balanced.
• UMOA etched glass reticle: The reticle provides MOA-based hold points for range estimation, bullet drop, and wind correction, giving the shooter useful references without dialing every adjustment.
• Zero-locking target turrets: Resettable turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks, locking function, and Zero Stop support repeatable elevation and windage changes, which is especially useful when moving between distances on the range.
• Side wheel adjustable parallax: Parallax adjustment from 9.14 m to inf helps keep the target and reticle on the same focal plane, improving precision at both close and extended distances.
• True Strength, nitrogen-filled construction: The sealed 30 mm scope body is IPX-7 waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, helping the optic maintain clarity and zero in changing weather and on hard-recoiling setups.

About the UTG Accushot Series

UTG Accushot sits in the brand's established line of practical shooting optics, with the series built around True Strength construction and coil erector return springs. That design approach reflects a focus on dependable zero retention and repeatable adjustment behavior on both air rifles and firearms, making the series relevant to shooters who move between rimfire, sporting, and general-purpose target platforms.

Within the lineup, magnification options run from 1-8x models up to 4-16x versions, and the family also includes a scout scope with extended eye relief. Across the current Accushot range, Leapers uses a 30 mm main tube and a second-focal-plane reticle format, giving the series a consistent mechanical layout and familiar handling. Illuminated reticles are a defining part of the family as well, with red, green, and 36-color modes used across the listed models. In practical terms, the Accushot series is aimed at shooters who want a compact, feature-rich riflescope with usable reticle references, robust construction, and controls suited to regular range work and field use rather than a stripped-down hunting optic.

About the UTG OP3 3-12x44

The UTG OP3 3-12x44 is a compact variable-power riflescope built for shooters who want more precision features than a basic sporting optic, but without moving to a long and heavy target scope. Its 3-12x magnification range gives it broad usefulness: lower power remains practical for closer targets and positional shooting, while 12x offers enough image scale for careful shot placement on small targets and for load development or rimfire precision work. The 44 mm objective lens, combined with the 30 mm tube and emerald lens coatings, supports a bright, clear sight picture while keeping the scope body relatively short at 258.00 mm.

This model uses an etched glass UMOA reticle in the second focal plane, a layout that keeps the reticle visually consistent as magnification changes. For the shooter, that means a clean aiming view at low power and a more deliberate holdover system when magnification is increased. Illumination is handled through UTG's EZ-Tap IE system with red, green, and multi-color modes, which helps the center aiming point stand out against dark targets or changing backgrounds. The center illumination is useful in poor light, but the etched reticle remains visible even with illumination off.

The turret system is particularly relevant to target use. 1/4 MOA clicks, locking turrets, and a Zero Stop make it easier to dial for distance and return to a known zero with confidence. A side wheel adjustable parallax system from 9.14 m to inf further supports precise shooting by reducing aiming error at varying distances. With IPX-7 waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, nitrogen-filled construction and included Picatinny/Weaver rings, this scope is configured as a durable, ready-to-mount option for rimfire and general target rifles.

About UTG

UTG is a brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992 and headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States. The company began with a compact 4x28 scope as its first product and has since expanded into a broad catalog of riflescopes, scope rings, mounts, bipods, and related accessories for hunting and shooting sports. That long involvement in practical shooting equipment is important to the UTG optics category, where mechanical reliability and mounting compatibility matter as much as optical performance.

Leapers develops and manufactures optics and accessories with a strong focus on the shooting market, and it expanded its manufacturing and research capabilities with a Taiwan optics research and manufacturing center in 2018. The company also introduced the UTG PRO line of U.S.-made products in 2009 and later added the premium INTEGRIX brand in 2022. In the context of riflescopes such as the OP3 and Accushot lines, UTG is known for feature-dense optics that combine practical reticles, durable construction, and mounting solutions within the same product ecosystem.
