UTG Accu-Sync Spring-Loaded AR15 Flip Up Rear Sight

• Spring-loaded flip-up deployment: The rear sight snaps into position quickly when needed, giving an AR15 a ready backup aiming system without leaving a fixed sight standing in the optic’s field of view.
• Lockable low-profile design: When folded, the sight stays compact on the rail; when raised, the lockable arrangement helps it remain secure during handling, transport, and repeated firing.
• Dual-aperture rear sight: The tool-free aperture setup lets the shooter switch between a larger and smaller opening to balance speed at short range with a more refined sight picture for deliberate shots.
• Picatinny rail compatibility: The sight mounts directly to a Picatinny rail, making it easy to pair with AR15 platforms and other rifles that use the same interface.
• Aluminium construction: The metal body keeps weight down while providing the rigidity needed for a dependable backup iron sight on a working rifle.

About the UTG Mounts Series

UTG Mounts covers a broad range of mounting solutions and sighting accessories developed by Leapers for modern sporting and tactical rifles. Within that lineup, the Accu-Sync family focuses on clean fit, practical handling, and secure attachment to Picatinny platforms. The series includes scope rings, cantilever mounts, and iron sights built around the same design approach: compact dimensions, repeatable positioning, and hardware intended for hard field use rather than bench-only setups.

Across the family, Accu-Sync products are shaped for rifles that need dependable accessories without unnecessary bulk. Some variants use quick-release locking levers and squared recoil stops, while others, such as the iron sight models, emphasize a low folded profile and straightforward deployment. The range spans different heights, offsets, and tube sizes depending on the product type, which makes the series relevant to everything from AR-pattern carbines to scoped precision rifles. In practical terms, UTG Mounts is aimed at shooters who want mounting hardware and backup sighting equipment that integrates neatly with modern rifle layouts and supports both hunting optics and general-purpose shooting setups.

About the UTG Accu-Sync Spring-Loaded AR15 Flip Up Rear Sight

The UTG Accu-Sync Spring-Loaded AR15 Flip Up Rear Sight is a compact backup iron sight built for rifles that carry a primary optic but still need a dependable mechanical aiming option. Its spring-loaded rear flip-up design allows rapid deployment, which is useful when a red dot, prism sight, or riflescope becomes obstructed or unavailable. Because it folds flat when not in use, it preserves rail space and keeps the top of the rifle less cluttered during normal optic use.

This rear sight is configured for Picatinny rail mounting and is intended for AR15 compatibility, making it a practical fit for carbines set up for training, field carry, or general defensive use. The dual-aperture arrangement gives the shooter two sight picture options without tools: a larger aperture for faster target acquisition at closer distances and a smaller aperture for more deliberate alignment when precision matters more than speed. That flexibility makes the sight more useful across varied shooting distances than a single-aperture design.

The body uses aluminium construction to keep the assembly light and manageable, while the lockable flip-up format helps the sight stay positively positioned once raised. At 31.00 mm in length, it remains compact enough to integrate easily with magnifiers, red dots, or low-power optics on crowded AR rails. The result is a rear sight that works well as a space-efficient backup aiming solution rather than a permanent obstruction on the rifle.

About UTG

UTG is the brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992. Headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, Leapers develops optics and shooting accessories for hunting and shooting sports, including riflescopes, mounts, rings, and bipods. The company’s first product was a compact 4×28 scope, and it later expanded into a much broader catalog of rifle accessories and sighting equipment.

Over time, Leapers has built a strong presence in practical shooting accessories, with product development tied closely to modern sporting rifles and field-use optics. The company introduced its UTG PRO line in 2009 and established a research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018. In 2022, Leapers also introduced the INTEGRIX premium optics brand. For products such as iron sights and mounts, UTG is especially known for offering functional designs that emphasize compatibility, straightforward installation, and durable construction for regular range and field use.
