Talley 34 mm Picatinny Rings

• Steel Construction: The steel body gives these 34 mm Picatinny rings the rigidity needed to keep a larger scope tube stable under recoil and repeated field use.
• 34 mm Scope Fit: Built for 34 mm optics, these rings suit modern long-range and tactical scopes that use a larger tube for greater adjustment travel and robust internal assemblies.
• Picatinny Rail Compatibility: The Picatinny interface makes them easy to pair with rifles and chassis systems that use a rail-based mounting platform, simplifying optic changes and setup.
• Fixed Ring Design: A fixed mounting format favors a secure, straightforward installation for shooters who want a stable scope-to-rifle connection without detachable hardware.
• Made in USA: Machined in the United States, these Talley rings reflect the brand’s focus on domestic manufacturing for scope-mounting components.

About the Talley Rings Series

Talley Rings sit at the core of the company’s scope-mounting range and reflect a product family developed for sportsmen across a wide spread of rifle platforms and optic types. The series covers fixed, quick-detachable, screw-lock detachable, Picatinny, dovetail, and modern sporting styles, so the line is built around matching the mounting system to the rifle rather than forcing one pattern to fit every application. That broad catalog approach is one reason the series has remained established for more than 40 years.

Within the range, Talley offers versions for different scope tube diameters and ring heights, making the series relevant to everything from compact hunting optics to larger precision and tactical scopes. The family also spans rings for Talley bases, Picatinny rails, and firearm-specific dovetail interfaces, which gives shooters a consistent mounting brand across multiple rifles. In practical terms, the Talley Rings series is defined by a straightforward mechanical philosophy: secure scope support, model-specific compatibility, and mounting formats that suit both traditional sporting rifles and more modern rail-equipped platforms.

About the Talley 34 mm Picatinny Rings

Talley 34 mm Picatinny Rings are built for shooters using a 34 mm scope tube on a rifle equipped with a Picatinny rail. That combination is common on precision rifles, tactical platforms, and modern hunting setups where larger-tube optics are chosen for their stronger internal construction and, in many cases, increased adjustment range. By pairing a 34 mm ring size with a rail-based interface, this model is aimed at stable installation and broad rifle compatibility.

The use of steel construction is the defining feature here. Steel rings are valued when the priority is holding strength and resistance to movement, especially with heavier optics or rifles that see repeated recoil and hard transport. On a practical level, that helps maintain optic alignment and supports consistent zero retention over time. The fixed ring format also keeps the design simple and solid, which suits shooters who want a dependable mounting solution without the added complexity of detachable hardware.

Because these are Picatinny rings, they fit naturally on rifles and chassis systems that use a standardized rail, including many modern bolt-action and tactical platforms. That makes them a sensible choice when moving beyond traditional hunting mounts and into setups built around rail-mounted accessories and larger optics. For a 34 mm riflescope, this Talley mount focuses on the essentials: secure clamping, durable material choice, and compatibility with widely used Picatinny-based rifle systems.

About Talley

Talley Manufacturing, Inc. is based in Santee, South Carolina, and specializes in scope rings and firearm scope-mounting products. The company’s catalog covers fixed mounting systems, lightweight alloy scope mounts, Picatinny rails, rimfire and specialty rings, and screw-lock detachable designs. That concentration on mounting hardware gives Talley a focused place in the shooting optics market, particularly for shooters who want purpose-built interfaces between rifle and scope.

Talley states that its products are machined in the United States at its Santee plant, which is a relevant part of the brand’s identity in this category. Its product range spans both traditional sporting rifles and more modern rail-equipped firearms, so the company is known less for optics themselves and more for the hardware that supports them securely. In practical terms, Talley’s reputation is tied to offering mounting options across many rifle actions, rail standards, and scope tube sizes.
