Smith & Wesson Duty Series CS, RXP Rechargeable, 1x18650

• Rechargeable 18650 power system: The included 1x18650 battery and USB charging cable make this handheld flashlight easy to keep in service, with less downtime and lower running cost than disposable-cell lights.
• 1,045-lumen output with 257 m beam distance: High output and long reach help the light work for property checks, outdoor tasks, and general duty use where both spill and throw matter.
• Five light modes with memory retention: Low, medium, high, turbo, and strobe settings let the light adapt to close work or maximum reach, while memory retention returns to the last setting for faster operation.
• Focused beam in a compact format: The compact CS-size body is easier to carry daily, while beam focus and a digital switch keep the light practical for quick, one-handed use.
• Waterproof aluminum construction: Anodized aerospace aluminum and waterproof build help the flashlight handle rain, rough handling, and regular field carry more confidently.

About the Smith & Wesson Flashlights Series

Smith & Wesson Flashlights covers both handheld lights and headlamps, giving the brand a practical lighting range for everyday carry, outdoor use, and task-focused duty applications. Within the lineup, the series spans more compact general-purpose models as well as heavier-duty tactical designs, so users can choose between easier portability and greater output or durability depending on the job.

A defining trait of the range is its emphasis on straightforward operation and role-specific formats. Some models are built around rechargeable power systems for frequent use, while others focus on simple battery-powered readiness. Across the series, the design approach centers on usable light modes, durable housings, and carry-friendly shapes that suit glove compartments, packs, work belts, or pockets. In practical terms, Smith & Wesson’s flashlight family is positioned as a broad utility line: lights intended to be easy to carry, quick to activate, and durable enough for routine use in the field, around the home, or as part of everyday equipment.

About the Smith & Wesson Duty Series CS, RXP Rechargeable, 1x18650

The Smith & Wesson Duty Series CS, RXP Rechargeable, 1x18650 is a compact handheld flashlight built for users who want duty-oriented output without moving to a large belt light. Its 1,045-lumen LED output and 257 m beam distance give it enough reach for searching darker outdoor areas, checking vehicles or outbuildings, and handling general emergency use, while the smaller CS-format body remains easier to carry day to day.

This model is designed around a rechargeable 18650 battery, which suits frequent use better than disposable cells and makes the light practical for work kits, vehicles, or home readiness. The five-mode setup of low, medium, high, turbo, and strobe allows the light to shift from runtime-focused close work to maximum output when more reach is needed. Memory retention adds a real operating benefit because the light returns to the last selected mode instead of forcing the user to cycle through settings each time.

Its construction is equally focused on practical carry. The body is made from anodized aerospace aluminum, giving the light a more durable feel than basic utility models, and the waterproof build adds reassurance in rain or wet working conditions. A digital on/off switch and multi-function spring steel clip support quick access, whether the light is carried in a pocket, attached to gear, or clipped for hands-free convenience in short tasks.

About Smith & Wesson

Smith & Wesson was founded in 1852 in Springfield, Massachusetts, by Horace Smith and Daniel B. Wesson. The company is best known for firearms, but its product range extends into related equipment under the Smith & Wesson and Gemtech brands. Today, Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. is headquartered in Maryville, Tennessee, following its relocation there in 2023.

The company’s core expertise remains in revolvers, pistols, long guns, suppressors, handcuffs, and other firearm-related products, and that background shapes its approach to accessories such as flashlights. In the lighting category, Smith & Wesson’s catalog includes handheld lights and headlamps, with product families aimed at everyday utility as well as more duty-focused use. That connection to defensive and field equipment gives the brand’s flashlights a clear emphasis on practical handling, durable construction, and straightforward operation.
