Sightron S6 1-6x24 FFP

• First focal plane LPVO design: The reticle stays proportional through the 1-6x zoom range, so holdovers and subtensions remain consistent when magnification changes during fast transitions or mixed-distance stages.
• 34 mm main tube: The larger tube supports a generous 35.00 mrad elevation and windage range, giving the scope more adjustment latitude for precise zeroing and rifle setup.
• Capped tactical turrets: This layout keeps the controls protected from accidental movement while still offering practical dialing when needed, which suits carbines used in competition, training, or field carry.
• Wide field of view: With up to 35.33 m/100m at low power, the scope helps the shooter pick up targets quickly at close range and maintain awareness of the surrounding scene.
• Rugged sealed construction: IPX-7 waterproof, nitrogen-filled, fogproof and shockproof construction supports reliable use in rain, temperature changes, and hard-recoiling or hard-handled rifle setups.

About the Sightron S6 Series

The Sightron S6 series sits in the company’s premium riflescope range and covers a notably broad spread of applications, from low-power 1-6x24 LPVO models to high-magnification optics reaching 10-60x56. That wide span gives the series a clear role in the lineup: it is built for shooters who want more specialized performance than a general-purpose hunting scope, whether the job is close-range speed, tactical use, or deliberate long-range work.

Within the family, Sightron positions the S6 1-6x24 for 3-gun competition, tactical use, and close-range hunting, while higher-magnification S6 models address medium- and long-range shooting. The series also includes configurations with different reticle layouts and focal-plane options depending on the model. This makes the S6 line distinctive not because every scope is the same, but because the platform is adapted to very different shooting styles while keeping a more serious mechanical and optical focus than entry-level optics. In practical terms, the S6 name is associated with versatile magnification ranges, competition- and field-oriented configurations, and designs intended for shooters who expect repeatable adjustment and a purpose-built feature set.

About the Sightron S6 1-6x24 FFP

The Sightron S6 1-6x24 FFP is a low-power variable riflescope built for rifles that need to move quickly between close targets and intermediate distances. At 1x, the scope favors fast target acquisition and easier shooting with both eyes open, which is useful on practical carbines, training rifles, and hunting setups used in tighter terrain. At 6x, it adds enough magnification for more deliberate shot placement on smaller or more distant targets without turning the optic into a bulky long-range scope.

Its first focal plane layout is one of the model’s defining traits. Because the reticle scales with magnification, the aiming references remain proportionally correct throughout the zoom range. That matters when the shooter cannot stay at one fixed power and still wants dependable reticle-based holds. The red illuminated reticle also helps the aiming point stand out against dark targets or cluttered backgrounds, improving speed in mixed light and on fast stages.

The mechanical setup supports the same practical role. Capped tactical turrets reduce the chance of accidental adjustment while the rifle is carried, slung, or moved through barricades, yet still provide substantial internal travel with 35.00 mrad of elevation and windage adjustment. A fixed 91.44 m parallax setting keeps operation simple, which suits an LPVO that is meant to be used quickly rather than constantly fine-tuned. The 34 mm tube, 259.00 mm overall length, and 680.00 g weight place the scope in a robust class, while nitrogen filling, fogproof construction, shock resistance, and IPX-7 waterproofing support dependable field use.

About Sightron

Sightron was originally based in Miami, Florida, and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. The company began with red-dot sights before expanding into hunting and target riflescopes, and it also produces binoculars and spotting scopes. That background helps explain why the brand’s catalog covers both fast-handling tactical optics and more specialized precision-oriented models.

Sightron riflescopes are manufactured in Japan, and the company is especially known in the shooting market for riflescopes aimed at hunting and target use. Across its lineup, Sightron has developed recognizable in-house technologies such as the ExacTrack windage and elevation system and Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating technology. In practical terms, the brand’s reputation is tied to repeatable mechanical adjustment, solid optical quality, and a product range that spans general sporting use through to more dedicated competition and precision applications.
