Sig Sauer Magpul MCX/MPX Folding SL-K Stock and Adapter

• Compact SL-K profile: The slim SL-K design keeps the rear of the rifle short and tidy, which helps when moving through tight spaces, working around gear, or building a lighter tactical carbine.
• Folding configuration for MCX/MPX platforms: The folding stock and adapter make transport and storage easier while preserving a full shoulder stock for more stable shooting once deployed.
• Polymer construction: The polymer body keeps weight down and resists hard field use, making it a practical choice for rifles that need to stay mobile without feeling fragile.
• Non-adjustable cheekpiece simplicity: A fixed cheek area avoids extra controls and moving parts, giving the stock a straightforward, durable setup that is easy to live with on general-purpose and competition rifles.
• Competition, general and tactical use: Its layout suits a wide range of roles, from fast handling on the range to practical defensive or duty-style setups where compactness and repeatable shoulder placement matter.

About the SL Series

Magpul SL-series stocks are built around a slim, streamlined profile that reduces bulk without giving up the control and shoulder support expected from a modern carbine stock. Within Magpul’s lineup, the SL family sits as a practical option for shooters who want a cleaner shape than traditional M4-style stocks, with an emphasis on snag-free handling, compact dimensions, and straightforward field use.

The series is commonly chosen for general-purpose carbines, tactical rifles, and range builds where fast handling matters as much as stability. A defining trait of the SL concept is its balance between a narrow exterior and a usable cheek weld, so the stock remains comfortable without becoming oversized. Across the family, Magpul focuses on durable polymer construction, simple controls, and geometry that works well with slings, body armor, and modern shooting positions. That makes the SL line especially relevant for shooters who want a stock that stays compact on the rifle while still supporting repeatable head position and efficient shoulder transitions.

About the Sig Sauer Magpul MCX/MPX Folding SL-K Stock and Adapter

The Sig Sauer Magpul MCX/MPX Folding SL-K Stock and Adapter combines the compact character of the SL-K stock with a folding arrangement suited to the SIG MCX and MPX platform. The result is a stock assembly that keeps the rifle or pistol-caliber carbine easier to transport and store, while still providing the shoulder support needed for controlled, repeatable shooting. For compact platform builds, that matters in practical use: the firearm stays easier to carry in confined spaces, cases, or vehicles, yet opens into a more stable firing setup when needed.

The SL-K pattern is especially useful on rifles configured for tactical, general-purpose, or competition roles because it avoids unnecessary bulk at the rear of the gun. Its slim body helps the firearm feel more agile during transitions, and the fixed cheek area keeps the stock simple and durable. With polymer construction, the assembly stays relatively light while standing up to regular handling, range use, and field movement.

This model is not built around adjustable cheek hardware, which suits shooters who prefer a cleaner stock with fewer protrusions and less mechanical complexity. On MCX and MPX setups, that simplicity pairs well with optics-driven shooting, where a consistent shoulder mount and fast presentation are often more important than extensive stock adjustment. Overall, this Magpul stock assembly is aimed at users who want a compact folding solution that preserves practical shooting support without adding unnecessary weight or complication.

About Magpul

Magpul was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Austin, Texas. The company was started by a former U.S. Reconnaissance Marine, and its name comes from its first product, a device designed to help manipulate rifle magazines under stress. That origin still reflects Magpul’s design approach: practical firearm accessories built around real handling needs rather than unnecessary complexity.

Today, Magpul designs and manufactures accessories for professional and personal use, with product lines that include PMAG magazines, MOE grips and stocks, and MBUS sights. The company is also known for developing M-LOK, a widely used accessory mounting interface for handguards and forends. Its broad catalog of stocks, grips, handguards, rails, slings, sights, and bipods has made Magpul a well-established name among shooters looking for durable, purpose-driven rifle components.
