Shilba Prismafire 2.5x32 IRG

• 2.5x prism-style magnification: The fixed 2.5x view gives a little more target detail than a non-magnified sight while staying fast enough for short- to mid-range shooting.
• Illuminated CQB reticle: The CQB reticle in the second focal plane stays easy to see, and its illuminated center helps the sight picture stand out against dark targets or cluttered backgrounds.
• Wide field of view: With 11.50 m/100m field of view, the scope supports quick target acquisition and better awareness around the aiming point in dynamic shooting positions.
• Tactical turrets with simple handling: 1/2 MOA click adjustments and a multi-turn turret layout allow straightforward zeroing and correction without adding unnecessary complexity.
• Compact, field-ready construction: The 119.00 mm body is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, making it suitable for hard use on rifles that see changing weather and regular transport.

About the Prismafire Series

The Shilba Prismafire series is built around the idea of a compact aiming optic that sits between a traditional low-power riflescope and a reflex-style sight. In Shilba’s lineup, it serves shooters who want a fast, fixed-magnification optic for practical field use, hunting at shorter distances, and general-purpose tactical setups. Rather than focusing on a wide zoom range, the series emphasizes speed, simplicity, and a compact footprint.

Prismafire models are defined by their prism-style format, illuminated reticle system, and short overall length. That combination gives the user a more structured sight picture than a simple dot sight, while still keeping handling direct and uncomplicated. The series is especially suited to carbines and rifles used where targets may appear quickly and where a broad field of view matters as much as raw magnification. With illuminated reticle options, practical turret adjustment, and durable weather-resistant construction, the Prismafire family is aimed at shooters who value a robust optic that remains easy to mount, easy to zero, and quick to use under changing light and weather conditions.

About the Shilba Prismafire 2.5x32 IRG

The Shilba Prismafire 2.5x32 IRG is a compact 2.5x32 prism riflescope designed for fast target engagement where a little magnification is useful but a large, heavy optic would be unnecessary. Its fixed 2.50 x magnification helps sharpen target detail and aiming precision compared with a 1x sight, while still keeping the image easy to manage at closer distances. The 32.00 mm objective and generous 12.80 mm exit pupil support a bright, forgiving sight picture, which is helpful when shooting from improvised positions.

The CQB reticle is placed in the second focal plane, so its apparent size remains constant and familiar to the eye. In practice, that makes the reticle easy to read at all times, especially for shooters who prefer a stable aiming reference rather than a scaling reticle. Illumination is provided in red & blue, with daytime-usable brightness, helping the aiming point stand out against dark cover, shaded targets, or visually busy backgrounds.

This model also uses tactical turrets with 14mm/100m - 1/2MOA click adjustment, giving clear, practical correction for zeroing and routine point-of-impact changes. The fast-focus eyepiece speeds up reticle sharpening to the shooter’s eye, and the compact 119.00 mm body keeps the optic easy to position on the rifle. With waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, plus mounting rail provision and CR2032 power for illumination, the Prismafire 2.5x32 IRG is configured as a durable, straightforward optic for close- to medium-range use.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960. In 1981, the current owners acquired the Shilba brand together with its technical know-how and industry contacts, helping shape the company’s later expansion. The brand’s catalog covers riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and scope mounts and rings, showing a clear focus on practical sporting optics and related equipment.

Shilba’s history in riflescopes is closely tied to field use. In 1975, technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to help develop a riflescope intended for hare hunting, and the company’s first two riflescope models were 4×32 and 4×40. Shilba later expanded beyond its home market, exporting to neighboring Latin American countries in 2000 and beginning commercial activity in Spain in 2004. That background helps explain the brand’s emphasis on accessible, purpose-built optics for hunting and shooting applications.
