Shilba Classic IRG 4x32

• Fixed 4x magnification: A simple fixed-power layout keeps the sight picture consistent and easy to read, which helps with fast target acquisition and dependable holdover at short to medium hunting distances.
• 32 mm objective lens: The compact front lens keeps the riflescope lighter and trimmer on the rifle while still providing a bright, usable image for general daytime field use.
• Illuminated SFP reticle: The second focal plane reticle stays the same apparent size through use, and the red and green illumination helps the aiming point stand out better against dark backgrounds or shaded cover.
• Capped 1/4 MOA turrets: Low-profile capped turrets protect the adjustment settings from accidental movement in the field, making this setup practical for hunters who prefer to zero once and leave the scope set.
• Nitrogen-filled 1 inch tube: The 25.4 mm tube and nitrogen-filled construction support reliable use in changing weather by helping resist internal fogging during temperature shifts.

About the Shilba Classic Series

The Shilba Classic series sits in the brand’s hunting-scope range as a straightforward line of traditional riflescopes built around practical magnifications and uncomplicated handling. Its roots reflect Shilba’s long association with basic fixed-power hunting optics, with early 4x32 and 4x40 formats forming an important part of the company’s riflescope history. In current form, the Classic family covers fixed-power and variable-power models, including 4x32, 4x40, 6x40 and 3-9x40 configurations.

Across the series, the emphasis is on familiar hunting-scope proportions, an aluminum body, and a layout that favors reliability over complexity. Shilba associates the line with Hi-Resolution lenses, water- and fog-resistant construction, and reticle options centered on the R4 pattern, with illuminated IRG versions available in selected models. In practice, that makes the Classic series well suited to hunters and recreational shooters who want a conventional optic for short- to medium-range work, especially on rifles where moderate weight, a simple sight picture, and easy day-to-day use matter more than advanced dialing features.

About the Shilba Classic IRG 4x32

The Shilba Classic IRG 4x32 is a compact fixed-power riflescope built for shooters who want a simple optic that is quick to understand and easy to live with in the field. Its 4x magnification gives enough image scale for careful shot placement at typical stalking and general hunting distances, without the extra bulk or decision-making that comes with a variable-power scope. Paired with a 32.00 mm objective lens, it keeps the overall profile trim and the weight down to 350.00 g, which helps maintain a balanced rifle.

The reticle system is one of the model’s key practical advantages. This scope uses a 2. focal plane - SFP reticle with red & green illumination, giving the shooter a more visible aiming point when the target is set against dark timber, brush, or other low-contrast backgrounds. Because the illumination is not intended for bright daylight use, the design makes the most sense for subdued light conditions where reticle visibility matters more than maximum brightness.

Mechanically, the scope follows a traditional hunting format with capped turrets and 1/4 MOA click adjustment, a sensible arrangement for rifles that are zeroed and then carried regularly. The 25.4 mm tube, fixed parallax setting, and nitrogen-filled construction all support straightforward, dependable use, while the 293.00 mm length keeps the scope compact enough for rimfire rifles and general-purpose hunting setups.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960. The company’s riflescope background took shape in 1975, when technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to help develop a scope intended for hare hunting. Those first riflescope models were 4×32 and 4×40 designs, and the initial production run of 2,000 units sold out in under 60 days, showing early demand for practical hunting optics in those formats.

In 1981, the Japanese factory owner sold the Shilba brand, its know-how, and its business contacts to the current owners. Shilba later expanded its reach by exporting to neighboring Latin American countries in 2000 and began marketing products in Spain in 2004. Today, the brand’s catalog covers riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and mounts and rings, reflecting a long-standing focus on field optics and related accessories.
