Rusan Pivot mount for Mauser M96, ATN 4K, one-piece

• Device-specific one-piece upper: Built around the ATN 4K format with a 30 mm mounting standard, this one-piece layout keeps the sight aligned in a single assembly and simplifies installation on the rifle.
• Pivot mount design: The classic pivot system lets the optic be detached and reattached in a controlled, repeatable way, which is useful when alternating between sighting setups or transporting the rifle more compactly.
• Rifle-specific fit: This version is made for the Mauser M96 (1896), so the mount geometry matches that action rather than relying on a generic base solution.
• Purpose-built for NV and digital optics: As part of Rusan’s NV and thermal pivot-mount range, it is configured for sighting devices that have different shape and balance requirements than conventional daytime scopes.
• Croatian metal construction: Made by Rusan in Croatia, the mount reflects the company’s long focus on machined mounting components for hunting and shooting use.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are designed for shooters who need a traditional detachable mounting system adapted to modern electro-optics. In Rusan’s current catalog, the series covers night-vision and thermal devices rather than only conventional riflescopes, which makes it especially relevant for hunting rifles set up for low-light and after-dark use. The range includes both complete pivot mounts with bases and upper assemblies without bases, giving users a way to match the mount to the rifle interface already in place.

A defining characteristic of the series is its device-specific and rifle-specific approach. Rusan offers variants for different mounting interfaces and for a wide spread of rifle models, while also matching the upper part to compatible devices from brands such as ATN, HIKMICRO, InfiRay, Pulsar, Pard, Dedal, PixFra, and Yukon. That matters in practice because digital night-vision and thermal sights often differ from standard optics in tube dimensions, body shape, and balance. By building the mount around those differences, the series provides a more appropriate fit for dedicated NV and thermal setups while preserving the familiar handling of a pivot mount.

About the Rusan Pivot mount for Mauser M96, ATN 4K, one-piece

The Rusan Pivot mount for Mauser M96, ATN 4K, one-piece is a dedicated mounting solution for pairing an ATN 4K sight with a Mauser M96. Instead of using a universal arrangement, this model combines a rifle-specific lower fit with an upper section intended for the ATN 4K pattern, which helps create a cleaner and more secure installation on this particular action. For shooters using digital night-vision optics on a classic rifle platform, that model-specific fit is the main advantage.

The one-piece construction keeps the upper mounting section together as a single unit around the 30 mm standard used here. In practical use, that can make setup more straightforward and maintain consistent alignment across the sight body compared with multi-part arrangements that require more adjustment. Because it uses a pivot mount layout, the sight can be removed when needed and returned to the rifle with the handling characteristics expected from this style of mount. That is useful for transport, storage, or switching between optical configurations.

Finished in black and made by Rusan in Croatia, this mount is aimed at shooters who want a traditional detachable mounting concept adapted to a digital optic rather than a standard daytime scope. It suits hunting and field rifles where secure attachment, correct device compatibility, and a rifle-specific fit matter more than a one-size-fits-all mounting solution.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company grew from the Rusan family’s metalworking business established in 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is important because Rusan’s reputation is closely tied to practical firearm mounting hardware rather than general outdoor accessories.

Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, with a strong emphasis on rifle-specific fit. The company is also well known for adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, including its clip-on sight adapter clamp introduced in 2009. Alongside classic hunting-rifle mounts, Rusan produces rails for rifle models such as the Tikka T3, Sauer 202, and Zastava M70, showing the brand’s focus on precise mechanical interfaces for sporting and hunting optics.
