Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Heym SR 21

1. Precision Engineering: Each base is meticulously machined from high-grade aluminium to ensure enduring performance and a flawless fit on the Heym SR 21. The black anodised finish not only adds to its aesthetic but also provides superior corrosion resistance and durability.

2. Lightweight Design: Crafted from durable aluminium, these two-piece bases offer a lightweight solution for mounting optics without adding unnecessary bulk to your rifle. This makes them ideal for hunters and recreational shooters who prioritise mobility and ease of handling in the field.

3. Secure Platform: Designed to accommodate Weaver-style rings, this two-piece base set provides a solid and reliable foundation for your rifle scope. While effective, it is critical to note the inherent complexity of installing two-piece bases, which demand precise alignment to prevent undue stress on your scope tube.

4. Gunsmith Recommended Installation: Unlike simpler one-piece Picatinny rails, achieving perfect alignment with two-piece Weaver bases requires expertise. We strongly recommend professional installation by a qualified gunsmith to ensure correct height, longitudinal, and horizontal axis alignment, thereby preventing potential issues like scope flex, misalignment, and compromised accuracy.

ABOUT THE Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Heym SR 21

The Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for the Heym SR 21 offers a cost-effective and lightweight solution for mounting your rifle scope. Crafted from high-strength aluminium and finished with a durable black anodisation, these bases are built to withstand the rigours of the field while maintaining a low profile. They are specifically designed for the Heym SR 21, ensuring a perfect contour match and a secure fit. While two-piece Weaver bases are an economical choice, especially appealing to budget-conscious hunters and recreational shooters, their installation requires significant precision. To avoid potential issues such as scope tube stress, flex, or misalignment that can lead to poor accuracy, we highly recommend professional mounting by a gunsmith. For those seeking simpler, more flexible, and often DIY-friendly options, a one-piece Picatinny rail is generally a more straightforward choice.
