Recknagel Swarovski SR Rail Rear Components for Tip-Off Base

• Swarovski SR rail interface: This rear component is made specifically for optics with the Swarovski SR rail, giving a secure and correctly matched connection without improvised adapters.
• Tip-off mount compatibility: Built for Recknagel tip-off systems with a Ø 7 mm interface, it supports a modular mounting setup that can be configured around the rifle and optic combination already in use.
• Black anodized aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while the anodized finish helps resist wear and corrosion in regular field use.
• 0 MOA inclination: The neutral mounting angle suits general hunting and sporting setups where a straight, uncomplicated optic position is preferred.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture reflects Recknagel’s focus on precise fit and repeatable mounting geometry, which matters when replacing or servicing scope-mount components.

About the Recknagel Tip-off Mount Series

The Recknagel Tip-off Mount series is part of the company’s scope-mount range for hunting and sporting firearms, with versions developed for rifles such as the Merkel KR1, B3 and B4. The series is built around a modular idea: instead of limiting the user to one ring size or one optic footprint, Recknagel offers both traditional scope-tube versions and rail-interface variants within the same family. That makes the platform useful for shooters who want a familiar mounting principle but need it matched to different optics.

Within the series, Recknagel lists models for 26, 30, 34, 36 and 40 mm scope tubes as well as interfaces for Swarovski SR, 45-degree Zeiss internal, S&B Convex and Weaver/Picatinny profiles. The Merkel-specific versions are made of aluminium, keeping the mount light while preserving the rigid structure needed for repeatable positioning. In practical use, the Tip-off Mount series suits hunters and sport shooters who want a compact, purpose-built mounting solution that can be tailored to the optic rather than forcing the optic to fit a generic arrangement.

About the Recknagel Swarovski SR Rail Rear Components for Tip-Off Base

The Recknagel Swarovski SR Rail Rear Components for Tip-Off Base is a dedicated rear mounting element for optics that use the Swarovski SR rail. Rather than adapting a rail-mounted scope to a ring-based setup, this component gives the mount the correct upper interface from the start. That matters in practice because a properly matched rail seat supports secure clamping, consistent alignment and a cleaner overall installation on the rifle.

This version is designed for use with Ø 7 mm tip-off interfaces from EAW, Optilock, Osuma and Recknagel, which makes it a useful spare part or conversion component for existing mount systems built around that standard. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup neutral, which suits conventional hunting and sporting rifles where the goal is straightforward optic positioning rather than added elevation bias for extended-range dialing. With no windage adjustment built into the component, the design stays simple and mechanically clean, relying on correct base alignment and a properly matched mount system.

The body is made from black anodized aluminium, combining low weight with good resistance to surface wear and weather exposure. For a rifle carried over long days in the field, that helps keep the mounting system practical without adding unnecessary bulk. As a rear component in a modular tip-off arrangement, it is especially useful when replacing worn parts, rebuilding a mount around a different optic interface, or maintaining a consistent Recknagel-based setup across compatible rifles and scopes.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer of firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights and hunting accessories. The company’s history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started manufacturing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl, in Thuringia. That long background in gun-related components remains relevant today, especially in product categories where precise fit and dependable mechanical function matter more than unnecessary complexity.

Its range includes scope mounts, Picatinny rails, firearm sights, triggers, safeties and hunting silencers, showing a strong focus on the mechanical interface between rifle and shooter. Recknagel relocated from Schweinfurt to Bergrheinfeld in 2006, and in 2010 the company introduced the ERATAC line for tactical mounts and accessories. Dr. Moritz Fehrer acquired Recknagel in 2022. Across hunting and tactical optics, the brand is known for practical mounting solutions built around compatibility, repeatable positioning and solid manufacturing.
