Recknagel One-piece tip-off mount for Picatinny, 36mm, nuts

• One-piece construction: The mount is built as a single unit, which helps keep the scope aligned under recoil and reduces the chance of movement between separate parts.
• 36 mm ring fit: The 36 mm configuration matches larger riflescope tubes securely, giving proper support for premium optics that need a stable mounting platform.
• Picatinny interface: Designed for Picatinny rails, it gives broad compatibility across modern rifles and makes it easier to move an optic between suitable platforms.
• Triangular nuts: The nut-fastened design provides a firm mechanical clamp and suits shooters who prefer a simple, repeatable attachment method over lever systems.
• Aluminium body: Aluminium keeps weight under control while still providing the rigidity needed for hunting and sporting rifles where dependable zero retention matters.

About the Recknagel Tip-off Mount Series

The Recknagel Tip-off Mount series sits within the company’s scope-mount range for hunting and sporting firearms and focuses on a low, stable connection between rifle and optic. In this family, Recknagel offers aluminium mounts in several configurations, including versions for conventional scope tubes and variants with integrated rail-style interfaces. That makes the series relevant both for traditional riflescopes and for optics that use proprietary mounting profiles.

A defining characteristic of the line is its breadth. Scope-tube versions are listed for 26, 30, 34, 36 and 40 mm diameters, while rail-interface models cover formats such as Weaver/Picatinny, Zeiss internal rail, Swarovski SR and S&B Convex. This gives the series a practical role for shooters who want the same general mounting concept across different rifles and optics. The design philosophy is straightforward: keep the mount compact, keep the optic close to the bore, and provide a secure attachment suited to regular field use rather than unnecessary complexity.

About the Recknagel One-piece tip-off mount for Picatinny, 36mm, nuts

The Recknagel One-piece tip-off mount for Picatinny, 36mm, nuts is a fixed mount built for shooters using a 36 mm riflescope tube on a Picatinny rail. Its one-piece layout is the main advantage in practice. By combining both rings and the base into one rigid assembly, it helps maintain alignment and supports consistent zero retention, which is especially important on rifles used for precise hunting shots or repeated range sessions.

The mount uses a nut-fastened clamping system, giving a direct and secure lock-up on the rail. This style suits users who prefer a simple mechanical attachment with minimal extra bulk. Because it is made from aluminium, the mount keeps overall rifle weight more manageable than a comparable steel design while still offering the stiffness needed for dependable optic support. The black finish gives it a subdued appearance that matches most modern rifles and optics.

With 0 MOA inclination, this model is intended for a neutral scope setup rather than built-in elevation bias, which makes it a sensible choice for general-purpose hunting rifles and sporting rifles where standard zeroing range is the priority. The KR 0.0 mm extension also keeps the layout straightforward, making this mount best suited to rifles and shooting positions that do not require additional forward or rearward scope offset.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer focused on firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights and hunting accessories. The company’s history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started producing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl in Thuringia. Over time, the business expanded from sight-making into a broader specialist in mounting solutions and related components for sporting and hunting firearms.

Its product range includes scope mounts, Picatinny rails, firearm sights, triggers, safeties and hunting silencers, showing a strong emphasis on the mechanical interface between rifle and shooter. Recknagel also introduced the ERATAC line in 2010 for tactical mounts and accessories, adding a more duty-oriented branch to its portfolio. The company relocated from Schweinfurt to Bergrheinfeld in 2006, and in 2022 it was acquired by Dr. Moritz Fehrer. In this category, Recknagel is best known for practical, precisely made mounting solutions with a strong connection to German hunting and sporting use.
