RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter .27

• Caliber-Specific Fit: The .27 adapter is sized for 7.06 mm bullets, helping the MatchMaster funnel seat cleanly on compatible case mouths for steadier, more controlled powder charging.
• Cleaner Powder Transfer: Used with the RCBS MatchMaster Powder Funnel, this adapter helps guide powder directly into the case instead of around it, reducing spills and wasted powder on the bench.
• Faster Reloading Rhythm: A dedicated adapter removes the need to improvise fit from one cartridge family to another, making repetitive charging work quicker and more consistent during load development or batch loading.
• Precision Interior Geometry: RCBS uses a unique interior design for these adapters so powder flow stays smooth through the funnel system, which helps maintain an orderly charging process with a wide range of smokeless powders.
• Expandable MatchMaster System: As part of the MatchMaster funnel lineup, this adapter lets reloaders tailor the funnel setup to specific calibers instead of relying on a one-size-fits-most solution.

About the MatchMaster Series

The RCBS MatchMaster series sits at the more precision-focused end of the company’s reloading lineup, aimed at handloaders who want tighter process control and more repeatable results. Across the range, MatchMaster products are built around the idea that small improvements in setup, fit, and consistency can make bench work more efficient and easier to repeat from one loading session to the next. That makes the series especially relevant to reloaders working on precision rifle ammunition, careful load development, or any workflow where powder handling and cartridge uniformity matter.

Within this family, the powder funnel components emphasize caliber-specific fit and smooth powder flow rather than generic compatibility alone. The system uses a dedicated funnel body with interchangeable adapters for different bullet diameters, allowing the user to match the interface more closely to the cartridge being charged. This design approach helps reduce powder loss around the case mouth and supports a cleaner, more controlled loading routine. In practical terms, the MatchMaster concept is about refining ordinary reloading steps so they become faster, tidier, and more consistent without adding unnecessary complexity to the bench.

About the RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter .27

The RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter .27 is a caliber-specific accessory for the MatchMaster Powder Funnel, intended for reloaders working with cartridges that use a 7.06 mm bullet diameter. Instead of relying on a broad universal opening, this adapter gives the funnel system a more precise contact point at the case mouth. That matters during powder charging because a better fit helps keep the funnel centered, improves control as powder is poured, and reduces the chance of kernels bouncing or spilling outside the case.

RCBS designs these adapters with a unique interior shape for the chosen caliber, so the benefit is not only at the point of contact with the brass but also in how powder transitions through the funnel system. For the reloader, that means a charging setup that feels more deliberate and repeatable, especially when working through multiple cases in sequence. The adapter is a small component, but it plays a practical role in keeping the loading bench cleaner and the process more efficient.

Because it belongs to the MatchMaster system, the .27 adapter also makes sense for reloaders who use several cartridge types and want to configure the same funnel body for each one. Swapping to the correct adapter is a straightforward way to keep the powder funnel matched to the job at hand, whether the goal is careful load development or steady-volume ammunition preparation.

About RCBS

RCBS was founded in 1943 by Fred T. Huntington in Oroville, California. The company name comes from Rock Chuck Bullet Swage, the original bullet-swaging die that started the business. Over the decades, RCBS built its reputation around ammunition handloading and reloading equipment for rifle and pistol cartridges, with product lines that include presses, dies, shell holders, powder measures, and priming tools.

Today, RCBS remains closely associated with bench equipment for reloaders who value durable, purpose-built tools. The brand became part of Hodgdon Powder Company in 2024 after its sale by Revelyst. Its long-standing focus on reloading hardware makes RCBS a natural fit for products such as the MatchMaster funnel system, where precise fit and repeatable powder handling are central to the design.
