RCBS Automatic Primer Tube for Cap Setter Combo

• Cleaner primer handling: The automatic tube-fed design keeps fingers off primers during loading, which helps reduce contamination from skin oils and supports more consistent ignition.
• One-at-a-time primer feed: Feeding primers individually into the primer plug and sleeve streamlines the priming step and keeps bench work more orderly on compatible RCBS presses.
• 100-primer tube capacity: A full tube supports longer loading sessions with fewer interruptions, which is useful when processing larger batches of rifle or pistol ammunition.
• Nylon primer pick-up: The pick-up design helps keep primers from falling out during handling, making tube filling more controlled and reducing wasted components.
• Made for RCBS press systems: As a dedicated RCBS replacement and accessory part, this primer tube is intended to maintain proper fit and dependable function within compatible priming setups.

About the RCBS Series

RCBS priming accessories are built to support the company’s broader line of reloading presses and handloading tools, with a focus on making repetitive bench tasks more controlled and efficient. Within the RCBS lineup, automatic primer feed components sit alongside presses, dies, powder handling tools and case-prep equipment as part of a system approach to ammunition reloading. These accessories are aimed at reloaders who want to keep workflow consistent while reducing unnecessary handling of sensitive components.

In practical use, the series centers on tube-fed primer delivery, replacement parts and press-specific compatibility rather than universal fit. That matters because priming systems work best when the feed path, tube dimensions and related components are matched to the press design they were built for. RCBS follows a straightforward mechanical philosophy here: durable parts, simple operation and compatibility with established press platforms. For reloaders maintaining older or current RCBS equipment, these accessories help preserve the original function of the priming system and keep the loading process moving smoothly from case prep to final assembly.

About the RCBS Automatic Primer Tube for Cap Setter Combo

The RCBS Automatic Primer Tube for Cap Setter Combo is a purpose-built press accessory for reloaders who want a more orderly and repeatable priming step on compatible RCBS equipment. Instead of handling primers one by one at the seating point, the tube works as part of an automatic primer feed system that delivers primers individually into the primer plug and sleeve. That approach helps reduce direct contact with primers, which is useful both for cleaner handling and for keeping bench work moving at a steadier pace.

A key practical advantage is the 100-primer capacity. For batch loading, that means fewer pauses to refill the system and less disruption once the press is set up and running. The design also uses a nylon primer pick-up, which helps keep primers secure during filling and transfer. In day-to-day use, this contributes to smoother handling and less chance of dropped primers on the bench.

As an RCBS accessory made in the USA, this primer tube is best understood as a maintenance or replacement component for reloaders who rely on RCBS press-mounted priming systems. Its value is not in adding complexity, but in preserving the convenience of tube-fed priming: cleaner primer handling, more efficient loading rhythm and proper fit within the intended RCBS setup.

About RCBS

RCBS was founded in 1943 by Fred T. Huntington in Oroville, California. The company built its reputation around ammunition handloading and reloading equipment for rifle and pistol cartridges, and the RCBS name came from “Rock Chuck Bullet Swage,” Huntington’s original bullet-swaging die. Over time, RCBS expanded from its early roots into a broad reloading catalog that includes presses, dies, shell holders, powder measures and priming tools.

RCBS is based in Oroville, California, United States, and its product range covers single-stage, turret and progressive reloading presses as well as the accessories that keep those systems working properly. That long focus on bench equipment is especially relevant for products like press priming parts, where correct fit and straightforward mechanical function matter more than unnecessary complexity.
