Pulsar PSP-V Weaver Rail Adapter

• Quick-detach rail clamp: The lever-type clamp mounts the adapter securely to Weaver/Picatinny rails and allows fast removal when the rifle needs to return to its daytime configuration.
• Made for Pulsar front attachments: The PSP-V is designed for Pulsar Proton, Krypton and Krypton 2 clip-on units, giving a stable interface for mounting thermal imaging in front of a daytime riflescope.
• Fine display alignment: Its positioning mechanism helps center the thermal image within the riflescope’s field of view, which improves viewing comfort and reduces distraction when scanning or taking a shot.
• Wide riflescope compatibility: The adapter is intended for riflescopes with a 35–60 mm lens diameter, making it easier to pair a thermal attachment with many common hunting and sporting optics.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight under control while providing the rigidity needed for repeated mounting and use on hard-recoiling rifles.

About the Pulsar Mounts Series

Pulsar Mounts are built to install Pulsar optics on rifles in a way that matches the role of the firearm and the sighting system. The series covers several mounting formats, including Weaver-based solutions for rifles with Weaver or Picatinny rails, giving users a practical way to fit thermal and digital optics to common sporting and hunting platforms. Across the range, the design focus is straightforward: secure attachment, repeatable positioning and a layout that supports field use rather than bench-only setup.

Within the series, different models address different mounting needs. Some are configured for quick-release use, while others use stop screws and recoil-control features for a more fixed installation style. That makes the family relevant to hunters who move optics between rifles, as well as shooters who want a dedicated mount for one platform. In practical terms, the series is defined by mechanical reliability, compatibility with established rail standards and a design approach that supports Pulsar’s thermal and digital sighting products without unnecessary bulk.

About the Pulsar PSP-V Weaver Rail Adapter

The Pulsar PSP-V Weaver Rail Adapter is a dedicated mounting solution for fitting a Pulsar Proton, Krypton or Krypton 2 thermal front attachment in front of a daytime riflescope on a firearm with a Weaver or Picatinny rail. Unlike a simple fixed bracket, this adapter is built around practical field handling. The lever-type clamp allows the unit to be attached and removed quickly, which is useful when the rifle alternates between daytime-only use and thermal clip-on use during changing light or different hunting conditions.

A key advantage of the PSP-V is its ability to support fine positioning of the thermal image within the riflescope’s field of view. That matters because a front attachment works best when the image appears naturally centered and comfortable to observe through the day optic. By allowing precise alignment, the adapter helps the shooter maintain a cleaner sight picture and get more usable information from the thermal device. The design also accommodates riflescopes with a 35–60 mm objective area, which broadens compatibility across many common hunting and sporting optics.

Mechanically, the adapter combines aluminium construction with a practical 0 MOA layout and KR 0.0 mm extension, keeping the setup straightforward and neutral. Its black finish matches modern rifle and optic configurations, while the overall design is intended for repeatable, secure installation on rail-equipped rifles. For shooters using Pulsar thermal clip-ons, the PSP-V provides a purpose-built interface that prioritizes stability, alignment and fast handling in the field.

About Pulsar

Pulsar traces its corporate history to 1991, when a group of enthusiasts began making observation devices. The brand itself launched in 2009 with the Digisight N550 digital night-vision riflescope, and it later expanded into thermal imaging with products such as the Quantum thermal monocular in 2012 and the Apex thermal riflescope in 2014. Pulsar is part of Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, a high-technology group headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The company focuses on daytime optics, digital night vision and thermal imaging, with a product range that includes riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, clip-on attachments and multispectral devices. In this category, Pulsar is particularly known for integrating electro-optical technology into field-ready hunting and observation equipment, including established lines such as Thermion thermal riflescopes and Digex digital scopes.
