Pachmayr S325 Deluxe Upland and Shotgun Pad

• Fast-mounting skeet profile: The S325 uses an upland and skeet-oriented face shape that helps the shotgun come to the shoulder quickly, which is useful when targets appear suddenly and mounting speed matters.
• Recoil-absorbing pad design: Pachmayr built this model to retain the classic recoil-reducing qualities of its Deluxe pad line, helping make repeated shots more comfortable during long sessions in the field or on the clay range.
• Ribbed face texture: The ribbed contact surface helps control side movement while the gun is mounted, supporting a more consistent shoulder position without making the mount feel sticky or slow.
• 1.1” thickness: The thicker pad adds meaningful cushioning at the rear of the stock, which can help soften felt recoil on harder-kicking upland and shotgun loads.
• White Line style base: The White Line look gives the pad a traditional appearance that suits classic sporting shotguns while still providing the practical function expected from a modern recoil pad.

About the Pachmayr Accessories Series

Pachmayr Accessories covers a broad range of shooting components built around practical handling improvements, from recoil pads and rifle grips to revolver and pistol grip designs. Within the line, recoil-control products remain especially important because Pachmayr introduced its first recoil pad in 1949, establishing a long-running place in the shooting-accessories market. The series is aimed at shooters who want straightforward functional upgrades rather than cosmetic add-ons, whether the goal is reducing recoil, improving grip security, or refining how a firearm mounts and handles.

Across the range, the design approach is consistent: durable materials, familiar sporting shapes, and purpose-built options for different firearms and disciplines. In the recoil-pad segment, that means models tailored to field use, upland shooting, and general shotgun or rifle applications, with variations in thickness, face shape, and profile to suit different stocks and shooting styles. Pachmayr Accessories therefore sits as a practical, established family of gun accessories for shooters who value proven designs, especially in areas such as recoil management and handling comfort.

About the Pachmayr S325 Deluxe Upland and Shotgun Pad

The Pachmayr S325 Deluxe Upland and Shotgun Pad is built for shooters who want a recoil pad that does more than simply cushion the stock. Its defining feature is the upland and skeet face shape, which is intended to promote a faster, cleaner mount than a more conventional field-style pad. That makes it especially well suited to shotguns used for upland birds, skeet, and other fast-moving target presentations where the gun has to come on line quickly and naturally.

The pad keeps the classic Deluxe-series emphasis on recoil absorption, so it helps moderate felt recoil while preserving the handling qualities needed for sporting use. The ribbed face is important here: it is designed to allow a quick shoulder mount while also helping control side movement once the gun is in position. In practice, that balance can make the shotgun feel more settled without slowing the mount. The 1.1” thickness adds useful cushioning for repeated shooting, while the traditional White Line styling gives the pad a look that fits well on classic wood-stocked shotguns. As a grind-to-fit recoil pad, it is intended for installation and shaping to the stock contours, making it a practical choice for shooters who want a tailored fit and a more refined mounting feel from their shotgun.

About Pachmayr

Pachmayr was founded by Frank Pachmayr in 1929 and developed a strong reputation in shooting accessories through products focused on firearm handling and recoil control. The company introduced its first recoil pad in 1949, and Pachmayr rubber handgun grips followed in the early 1960s, helping establish the brand across both long-gun and handgun categories. Its product range includes handgun grips, recoil pads, gunsmithing tools, and related shooting accessories.

Over time, Pachmayr became particularly well known for recoil-reducing products that use Decelerator material, as well as for grip families such as Diamond Pro, G10, Renegade, and American Legend. The brand joined Lyman in 1996, and Pachmayr’s manufacturing plant relocated to Prescott Valley, Arizona, in 2014. For recoil pads and other firearm accessories, Pachmayr remains associated with long-established, field-proven designs.
