Night Pearl Marten 650 Product description

  • 640x480 VOx sensor: The higher-resolution thermal core shows more detail at distance, helping with faster target recognition and more confident shot placement in open ground and mixed terrain.
  • 50 Hz refresh rate: A smoother image makes it easier to follow moving game and scan naturally without the lag that can make thermal observation feel disjointed.
  • 50 mm objective with 2.8x base magnification: This combination gives the Night Pearl Marten 650 a practical balance between image scale and field coverage, making it suitable for general hunting distances rather than only close or long-range use.
  • 1024×768 OLED display: The OLED screen presents thermal information with strong contrast and clear reticle definition, which helps when identifying heat signatures in low-visibility conditions.
  • Video recording and WiFi connectivity: Built-in recording and wireless connection make it easier to document hunts, review observations, and transfer footage without adding external accessories.

About the Night Pearl Marten Series

The Night Pearl Marten series was introduced in 2022 as a line of thermal riflescopes developed through a collaboration between Night Pearl and Guide. Built in a conventional day-scope format, the series was designed for hunters who wanted thermal capability in a familiar riflescope-style housing rather than a compact monocular or clip-on layout. That approach gives Marten models a more traditional mounting position and handling style on hunting rifles, which can make the transition to thermal optics more straightforward.

Within the Night Pearl range, the Marten family sits as a dedicated thermal riflescope line for use in varied field conditions. The series focuses on practical hunting use, combining ceramic VOx thermal sensors, integrated displays, multiple reticle options, and recording functions in a robust weather-resistant body. Named variants in the line include the 420, 430, 450, 620, and 630, covering different sensor classes and use cases. Across the series, the emphasis is on clear thermal imaging, familiar riflescope ergonomics, and field-ready operation for hunters working in darkness, fog, brush, and other situations where conventional glass optics are limited.

About the Night Pearl Marten 650

The Night Pearl Marten 650 is built for hunters who need a thermal riflescope that can cover both scanning and shot execution without feeling overly specialized. Its 2.8x optical magnification gives a useful starting image scale for general hunting, while the 50 mm objective lens supports strong thermal collection for observation in difficult light and weather. Combined with a stated 2000.00 m detection range, the scope is suited to locating heat sources well before they are close enough for engagement, which is valuable when watching field edges, tracks, or open ground.

The thermal system is centered on a 640x480 VOx Ceramic sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch and 30.00 mK NETD. In practice, that means better separation of subtle temperature differences and finer scene detail than lower-resolution thermal units, especially when animals blend into cluttered backgrounds or when weather reduces contrast. A 50.00 Hz refresh rate helps maintain a fluid image when panning or following movement, while the 1024×768 OLED display keeps the viewed image and reticle crisp enough for deliberate aiming.

For field use, the Marten 650 adds flexibility with 8 reticles, illuminated reticle display, still-image capture, video recording, video output, and WiFi connectivity. The -4/+4 diopter range helps adapt the eyepiece to different users, and the stated 10.00 h battery life on CR123 power supports extended sessions in the field. Its 990.00 g housing is paired with waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, allowing the scope to stay functional in cold, wet, and demanding hunting conditions.

About Night Pearl

Night Pearl was established in the Czech Republic in 2009 and focuses on electro-optics for low-light and no-light use. The company completed its first device, the NP-22 night-vision clip-on, in 2008, and it has produced thermal imaging devices under its own brand since 2014. Its product range covers thermal imaging, night vision, digital night vision, and daytime optics, with thermal categories that include handheld units, clip-ons, and rifle scopes.

The company expanded its technical base when it opened a research, development, and manufacturing facility in Bystřice pod Hostýnem in 2016. More recently, Night Pearl USA began operating in Sarasota, Florida, in 2023. This background is relevant to the Marten 650 because it places the scope within a manufacturer that specializes in hunting and observation optics built around thermal and night-vision technologies rather than general sporting goods.
