MTM Ammo Box 45ACP 40SW 50rd Slide

• Side-slide lid: The removable side-opening lid gives quick access to small groups of cartridges, making it easier to load magazines or take only the rounds needed at the bench.
• 50-round capacity: A dedicated 50-cartridge layout keeps handgun ammunition organized, separated, and easy to count for range sessions, practice batches, or stored reloads.
• Stackable polypropylene body: The rigid polypropylene construction resists everyday knocks and helps the boxes stack neatly, so ammunition stays orderly in safes, range bags, or storage shelves.
• Caliber-specific fit: Designed for .45 ACP and .40 S&W-class cartridges, the box supports secure cartridge positioning to reduce movement during transport and storage.
• Made in USA: Domestic production and a straightforward utility-focused design make this MTM cartridge box a practical choice for regular shooting, reloading, and ammunition management.

About the MTM Ammo Box Series

MTM ammo boxes are built as practical storage solutions for shooters who want their ammunition protected, sorted, and easy to handle. Within the company’s lineup, this series covers a wide range of rifle and pistol cartridge boxes, with different capacities and opening styles to suit everything from casual range use to organized reloading benches. The focus is on durable molded polymer construction, compact external dimensions, and caliber-specific layouts that keep cartridges upright and separated.

Across the series, MTM emphasizes features that matter in daily use: stackable shapes for tidy storage, textured surfaces for secure handling, and lids designed for repeated opening and closing without fuss. Some versions use a conventional flip-top format, while others use a side-slide arrangement for faster access to a few rounds at a time. That makes the series especially relevant for handgun shooters, reloaders, and anyone who wants ammunition sorted by caliber, load, or lot number. Rather than adding unnecessary complexity, the design philosophy stays centered on simple organization, reliable cartridge protection, and efficient use of storage space.

About the MTM Ammo Box 45ACP 40SW 50rd Slide

The MTM Ammo Box 45ACP 40SW 50rd Slide is a compact pistol ammunition box designed around fast, controlled access. Instead of a conventional top-opening lid, this model uses a side-slide opening system, which makes it easier to remove a few cartridges at a time without exposing the entire box. In practice, that is useful on the range, at the loading bench, or during ammunition prep, where quick access and clean organization matter more than bulk storage.

Its 50-round capacity suits common handgun shooting routines well: enough for a training string, a carry-ammo reserve, or a clearly separated batch of reloads. The fit is intended for .45 ACP and .40 S&W-class cartridges, helping keep rounds upright and properly spaced so they are easier to inspect, count, and handle. The clear utility of this layout is not just neatness; it also helps prevent mixed loads, loose rounds, and unnecessary handling.

The body is made from polypropylene, a sensible material for a cartridge box that may be carried in a range bag, stacked with other boxes, or stored long term. It keeps weight low while providing enough rigidity for routine transport and shelf storage. As an ammunition accessory made in the USA, this MTM cartridge box is aimed at shooters who want a straightforward, repeatable way to store pistol ammunition without wasting space.
