MTM Ammo Box 270Win, 7mmMAG 20rd Belt

• 20-round belt carry format: keeps a practical field load on the belt, so spare cartridges stay organized, accessible and separate from loose gear in a pocket or pack.
• Bullet-down cartridge layout: each round sits in its own recess for quick removal, helping hunters reload smoothly while keeping cartridges oriented the same way every time.
• Protective internal ribs: the case supports cartridges so bullet tips do not rest on the bottom, reducing the chance of tip damage that can affect consistent flight.
• Snap-Lok latch: the lid stays securely closed during movement, which helps prevent accidental opening when walking, climbing or getting in and out of a vehicle.
• Polypropylene construction: the box is light, durable and resistant to everyday field use, making it a practical ammunition carrier for repeated hunting trips.

About the Ammo Box Series

MTM ammo boxes are built as practical storage and carry solutions for shooters who want their cartridges protected, sorted and easy to handle in the field or at the bench. Across the range, the series covers different capacities, cartridge lengths and lid styles, from compact slip-top boxes to larger handled cases and specialized belt-carried models. That broad format choice makes the line relevant to both hunting and general shooting use, where ammunition needs differ between a day in the field and organized storage at home.

A defining trait of the series is its focus on cartridge-specific fit. Instead of treating ammunition as loose bulk items, these boxes keep each round in an individual recess to reduce contact between cartridges and help maintain order. In practical use, that means faster counting, cleaner handling and less chance of damaged bullet tips or mixed loads. The series also emphasizes lightweight polymer construction, straightforward latch systems and compact shapes that are easy to pack. For shooters who want a simple, durable way to carry or store rifle ammunition, the MTM range is designed around function rather than unnecessary complexity.

About the MTM Ammo Box 270Win, 7mmMAG 20rd Belt

The MTM Ammo Box 270Win, 7mmMAG 20rd Belt is a field-oriented cartridge box made for shooters who want immediate access to a controlled number of rounds without carrying a larger hard case. Its 20-round capacity suits hunting use particularly well: enough ammunition for a full day afield, while still keeping the box compact on a belt. That format helps keep reloads close at hand and prevents cartridges from shifting around in jacket pockets or packs.

This model uses a belt-style layout with each cartridge placed bullet down in its own recess. In practice, that arrangement makes rounds easier to grasp consistently and helps speed up reloads when gloves, cold weather or awkward shooting positions make fine handling more difficult. The internal rib design is equally important, because it helps keep bullet tips from contacting the bottom of the box. For pointed hunting bullets, that added protection matters: it reduces the risk of tip damage during movement and helps preserve the consistency of the loaded round.

The box is made from polypropylene, giving it a useful balance of low weight and durability for repeated outdoor use. A Snap-Lok latch keeps the lid closed during walking, climbing and vehicle travel, while the enclosed design adds protection from dust and moisture. For .270 Win., 7mm Rem. Mag. and similar long rifle cartridges, this MTM cartridge box is a straightforward accessory that prioritizes secure carry, clean organization and fast access.
