Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch P7M8, M10

• Self-Illuminated Tritium Dots: the three-dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready at any hour with no switches or charging routine.
• Consistent 3-Dot Alignment: the same dot layout is used in daylight and darkness, helping the shooter keep a familiar sight picture and reduce hesitation when lighting changes.
• Steel Construction: the all-steel body gives the sight set the durability needed for daily carry, repeated slide cycling, and hard use on a defensive or duty handgun.
• Fixed Sight Setup: a fixed front and rear arrangement keeps the system simple and robust, making it well suited to pistols that prioritize dependable point-and-shoot handling over adjustment features.
• Direct Replacement Design: the Tru-Dot series is built as a replacement for factory front and rear sights on compatible handguns, making it a practical upgrade for improved low-light visibility.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established family of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built for shooters who want a simple sighting system that works in daylight, low light, and full darkness. Within the handgun lineup, the series includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants, covering everything from standard carry pistols to specialized setups. A defining characteristic of the range is its tritium-powered three-dot sight picture, which keeps the aiming reference visible without batteries and without changing the basic visual layout between day and night use.

The series is designed as a replacement for existing front and rear sights on compatible handguns, making it a practical upgrade for service pistols, defensive carry guns, and general-purpose sidearms. Some models are offered with different tritium dot color combinations, while adjustable versions add windage and elevation correction for shooters who need a more tunable setup. Across the range, the design philosophy stays focused on durability, fast alignment, and a familiar sight picture that remains easy to read under changing light conditions.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch P7M8, M10

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch P7M8, M10 is a dedicated tritium night sight set for these classic H&K pistols, giving them a clear aiming reference that remains visible around the clock. Its green self-illuminated dots remove the need for batteries or external charging, which is especially useful on a defensive handgun that may be carried, stored, or deployed in unpredictable lighting. Because the dots are always present, the pistol keeps the same basic sight picture whether the shooter is working in daylight, indoor light, or darkness.

The three-dot alignment is straightforward and familiar, helping the eye pick up the front and rear relationship quickly during close-range defensive shooting. Combined with the square rear sight, it gives a clean reference that supports fast centering without making the sight picture overly busy. This model uses a fixed sight adjustment layout, which favors mechanical simplicity and resistance to hard use over user-adjustable controls. For a carry or duty-style handgun, that means fewer parts to disturb and a setup that stays consistent once installed.

Its steel construction adds the toughness expected from a serious handgun sight set, standing up well to repeated slide movement and regular handling. Finished in black, the sight body keeps a restrained appearance in daylight while the tritium inserts take over when ambient light drops. For owners of the Heckler & Koch P7M8 or M10, this sight set is a practical upgrade that improves low-light usability without changing the pistol’s basic handling.
