Meprolight Tru-Dot for Benelli M1S90

• Self-Illuminated Tritium: The Tru-Dot sight system stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the shotgun remains ready for defensive use, duty carry, or hunting in changing light.
• Three-Dot Alignment: A clear 3-dot layout helps the eye center the front sight quickly, making target acquisition faster than with plain black sights, especially under stress.
• Steel Construction: The steel body gives the sight set the durability needed for hard use on a working shotgun, with better resistance to knocks and recoil than softer materials.
• Fixed Sight Design: A fixed configuration keeps the setup simple and robust, reducing the chance of settings shifting and making it well suited to a practical field or defensive shotgun.
• Benelli M1S90 Fit: This version is made for the Benelli M1S90, giving owners a dedicated replacement sight solution rather than a generic compromise fit.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot sights are built around a simple idea: give the shooter a consistent three-dot sight picture that remains easy to read in both daylight and low-light conditions. The series uses tritium illumination to provide a visible aiming reference without batteries, switches, or charging, which makes it especially practical on defensive firearms and field guns that may be stored for long periods and then needed immediately.

Within the wider Meprolight range, the Tru-Dot series sits as a durable self-illuminated iron-sight family for users who want a traditional sight picture with better low-light usability. The line includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants across many firearm platforms, and it is intended as a direct replacement for compatible factory sights. That approach keeps handling familiar while improving visibility. For shotgun and firearm owners who prefer robust mechanical sights over electronics, the series offers a straightforward combination of always-on illumination, steel construction, and a sight picture designed for fast alignment under varied lighting conditions.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Benelli M1S90

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Benelli M1S90 is a dedicated shotgun sight set designed for shooters who want a more visible aiming reference than standard factory irons. Its defining feature is the self-illuminated tritium system, which keeps the dots visible in darkness and dim transitional light without relying on batteries. That matters on a shotgun used for home defense, law-enforcement roles, or hunting at dawn and dusk, where lighting can change quickly and there may be no time to activate an electronic sight.

The sight picture uses a 3-dot alignment with an O-style rear sight, helping the eye pick up the front sight quickly and settle into a repeatable aiming pattern. On a fast-handling platform like the Benelli M1S90, that can make close- to medium-range target engagement more intuitive, particularly when speed matters more than fine adjustment. Because the design is fixed, there are no exposed adjustment controls to snag or shift, which supports dependable use on a working shotgun.

Construction is equally practical. The steel housing gives the sight set the strength needed for repeated recoil and hard field handling, while the black finish keeps the overall look subdued. For owners of the Benelli M1S90 who want a durable, always-ready upgrade, this Tru-Dot configuration combines familiar iron-sight handling with improved visibility in the conditions where plain sights are hardest to use.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. It is a division of SK Group, and its product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, thermal sights, magnified optics, magnifiers, and night-vision systems.

That background is especially relevant in the iron-sight category, where Meprolight has built its reputation on durable self-illuminated aiming systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. Its long focus on tritium-based sighting products explains why the brand is closely associated with practical low-light sights that keep the handling of traditional irons while improving visibility when ambient light drops.
