Meprolight Tru-Dot for Armscor in .45 ACP

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The Meprolight Tru-Dot sight set stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive or duty use at any hour.
• Three-dot sight picture: A clear 3-dot layout helps the eye align front and rear sights quickly, supporting faster sight acquisition in both daylight and reduced-light conditions.
• Fixed steel construction: The steel body gives the sight set the durability expected from a carry or service handgun component while keeping the zero and alignment stable in regular use.
• Green tritium dots: Matching green dots provide a familiar, easy-to-read reference that simplifies transitions between bright environments and darker interiors.
• Direct replacement format: Designed as a handgun sight upgrade for compatible Armscor pistols in .45 ACP, this set offers a straightforward way to add night-sight capability without changing the pistol’s handling.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

The Meprolight Tru-Dot series is a family of self-illuminated handgun sights built as replacement front and rear sight sets for a wide range of pistol platforms. Within Meprolight’s handgun lineup, Tru-Dot models cover several roles, including fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height configurations, which makes the series relevant for concealed carry, service pistols, and specialized handgun setups. A defining feature across the range is the three-dot aiming layout, designed to keep the sight picture familiar and consistent from daylight into low-light conditions.

At the core of the series is tritium illumination, which provides a visible aiming reference without batteries or manual activation. That matters on a defensive handgun, where simplicity and immediate readiness are often more important than added controls. Selected models are also offered with different tritium dot color combinations, while the fixed versions focus on a straightforward, snag-free setup that preserves the handling of the host pistol. Across the series, the design philosophy is practical: durable metal construction, direct replacement fitment for compatible handguns, and a sight picture intended to support quick alignment under stress.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Armscor in .45 ACP

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Armscor in .45 ACP is a fixed tritium night sight set made for shooters who want a simple, always-on sighting system on a compatible pistol. Its main advantage is readiness: the self-illuminated 3-dot configuration remains visible in low light without switches or batteries, which suits defensive carry, home protection, and general range use where lighting conditions can change quickly. In daylight, the same three-dot arrangement keeps the presentation familiar and easy to read, helping the shooter pick up the sights faster during close and mid-range handgun work.

The sight set uses green tritium dots and a square rear sight, a combination that gives a clean rear reference and a conventional sight picture many pistol shooters already know well. Because the sights are fixed, there are no exposed adjustment elements to complicate the setup or add bulk. That makes this configuration especially suitable for a working handgun that needs dependable alignment and uncomplicated handling rather than target-style adjustability.

Steel construction supports durability in routine carry, training, and repeated slide manipulation, while the black finish keeps the overall appearance subdued. For an Armscor .45 ACP pistol, this Tru-Dot set adds low-light capability without changing the basic manual of arms, making it a practical upgrade for users who want robust iron sights with around-the-clock visibility.
