Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Walther

• Always-ready illuminated sight picture: The Meprolight Mepro Evergreen uses an illuminated three-dot arrangement so the sights remain easy to pick up in both daylight and darkness, reducing the delay between presentation and a clear sight picture.
• Dot-and-bar alignment: The dot and bar layout gives the eye a simple reference for front-to-rear alignment, helping the shooter center the front sight quickly during defensive use and fast follow-up shots.
• Fixed-duty construction: With a fixed sight setup, the system favors durability and consistent zero retention, making it well suited to carry pistols and hard use where snag-free reliability matters more than adjustment complexity.
• Metal sight housings with LED illumination: The series uses illuminated elements housed in metal front and rear sights, combining a familiar iron-sight form with improved visibility in changing light.
• Walther-specific fit: Built for Walther compatibility, this sight set offers a model-specific upgrade path for shooters who want a brighter, easier-to-index handgun sight system without changing their shooting technique.

About the Mepro Evergreen Series

Mepro Evergreen is Meprolight’s LED-illuminated pistol sight series for shooters who want a handgun sight picture that stays visible in both daytime and nighttime conditions. In Meprolight’s lineup, the series sits as a practical alternative to conventional iron sights by keeping the familiar shape and handling of a standard pistol sight set while adding active illumination for faster visual pickup. The concept is straightforward: preserve the speed and instinctive use of iron sights, but make the aiming reference easier to see when light conditions change.

A key characteristic of the series is its three-dot illuminated sight picture, created by LED light sources in the front and rear metal housings. Meprolight also states that the power source is designed to support five consecutive years of operation, which suits defensive pistols, duty handguns, and general range use where the owner wants a sight that remains ready over long periods. Within the series, selected pistol models are offered with an illuminated front sight paired with either a non-illuminated U-shaped or square-notch rear sight, giving the family a practical focus on rapid alignment, target acquisition, and familiar handgun handling.

About the Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Walther

The Meprolight Mepro Evergreen for Walther is a handgun night sight set built for shooters who want a clearer aiming reference on a Walther pistol without moving away from the simplicity of iron sights. Its main advantage is visibility: the illuminated sight picture is easier to acquire than plain black sights when transitioning from bright outdoor light to dim indoor spaces or low-light conditions. That makes it relevant for concealed-carry pistols, home-defense handguns, and service sidearms where quick sight recognition matters.

This model uses a fixed sight configuration with a dot and bar alignment system. In practical use, that arrangement helps the eye organize the sight picture quickly: the front dot draws attention, while the rear reference helps level and center the pistol with less visual hesitation. Because the sights are fixed rather than adjustable, the design emphasizes robustness, repeatability, and a low-maintenance setup suited to everyday carry and regular training. The black housing keeps glare and visual distraction to a minimum while preserving a clean outline against the slide.

As part of the Evergreen family, this Walther-fit version combines the familiar handling of conventional pistol sights with LED-based illumination intended for both day and night use. The result is a sight set that supports faster alignment on stationary or moving targets while keeping the manual of arms unchanged for shooters already accustomed to standard handgun sights.
