MDT M-LOK QD Sling Mount, Anti-Rotation

• Anti-Rotation QD Interface: The anti-rotation design keeps the sling swivel from spinning freely, helping the rifle hang in a more controlled position and reducing strap twist during carry and position changes.
• M-LOK Compatibility: This mount installs directly into M-LOK slots on handguards and forends, making it easy to place a QD sling point exactly where it best suits the rifle’s balance and shooting style.
• Compact Sling Mount Solution: By adding a flush QD attachment point without unnecessary bulk, it preserves the clean profile of the forend and helps avoid snagging on gear or support bags.
• Durable Black Construction: The black finish and robust build are suited to regular field and range use, giving the mount a discreet appearance that matches modern chassis and handguard systems.
• Included Installation Hardware: Hardware is supplied with the mount, so it is ready to fit to a compatible M-LOK platform without sourcing extra small parts.

About the M-LOK QD Series

MDT’s M-LOK QD series is built for shooters who want to add a quick-detach sling attachment point to a modern rifle without changing the overall handling of the chassis or handguard. Positioned within MDT’s accessory range for precision shooting, hunting, and practical rifle setups, these mounts are intended to expand sling placement options on rifles that use the M-LOK interface. The concept is straightforward: give the shooter a secure QD socket that can be installed where it best supports carry, support-hand placement, or positional shooting technique.

Within the series, MDT offers versions with full 360-degree rotation as well as an anti-rotation configuration. That allows the user to choose between maximum swivel freedom or more controlled sling movement, depending on how the rifle is carried and deployed. The series is designed around a compact footprint so the mount adds function without creating unnecessary bulk on the forend. In practical use, that makes these accessories well suited to chassis rifles, AR platforms, and other M-LOK-equipped systems where a clean, low-profile sling solution is preferred.

About the MDT M-LOK QD Sling Mount, Anti-Rotation

The MDT M-LOK QD Sling Mount, Anti-Rotation is a compact accessory for adding a controlled quick-detach sling point to an M-LOK-compatible rifle forend or handguard. Its main advantage is the anti-rotation socket, which limits how the QD swivel turns once inserted. In practice, that helps keep the sling oriented more consistently, which can make the rifle more comfortable to carry and reduce the tendency for the strap to bind or twist as the rifle is moved from shoulder carry to a shooting position.

This type of mount is especially useful on rifles set up for hunting optics, practical field shooting, or precision rifle use, where sling placement affects both comfort and control. By letting the shooter position the QD point where it best suits the rifle’s balance, the mount can improve how the rifle hangs across the body and how quickly it settles when brought into action. The low-profile form also helps preserve clearance around bags, barricades, and other support surfaces often used in positional shooting.

The black construction keeps the appearance discreet and in line with modern chassis systems and handguards. Because the mount attaches through the M-LOK slots and includes the required hardware, it offers a straightforward way to add a secure sling interface without resorting to bulkier adapters or permanent modification. For shooters who want a QD sling point with more controlled movement than a free-rotating cup, the anti-rotation layout is the defining feature.

About MDT

MDT Sporting Goods was established in 2009 and is headquartered in British Columbia, Canada. The company focuses on products for target shooting and hunting, with a range that includes rifle chassis systems, magazines, buttstocks, and accessories. That specialization has made MDT particularly well known among shooters building modular bolt-action rifle systems and refining rifle fit, support equipment, and accessory placement.

MDT’s catalog also extends to scope bases, scope rings, bipods, and stocks, reflecting a broad emphasis on practical rifle components rather than general outdoor gear. The company identifies the TAC21 as its first chassis, and it states that its chassis, magazines, and accessories are developed with input from competitive precision shooters. That background is relevant here, because accessories such as sling mounts are designed with the same focus on modularity, rifle handling, and compatibility with modern precision rifle setups.
