ABOUT THE MANTIS TITANX SERIES

The Mantis TitanX series consists of inert smart laser training pistols designed specifically for dry fire training. Each model combines four elements in a single device: a realistic form factor based on a popular service pistol, a realistic resetting trigger, a laser fired when the trigger breaks, and the integrated MantisX shooting performance analysis system.

The idea behind the series is simple: dry fire practice is the most efficient way to accumulate repetitions, and the closer the training tool is to the real firearm, the better the skills transfer. Matching the size, grip angle and controls of the shooter's own pistol means that grip, presentation, reloads and trigger control are practised with the same ergonomics used on the range or in duty carry, without building habits that do not apply to the real gun.

All TitanX pistols use a 650 nm Class 3R red laser and are optic-ready with an RMR/Shield RMS/RMSc footprint. Paired with the MantisX Pistol/Rifle app, they give access to over 40 drills and 10 guided courses, including dynamic drills and TitanX-exclusive reload analysis. The series is suitable for shooters of every level, from beginners learning the fundamentals to competitive, law enforcement and defensive shooters who want frequent, measurable practice without ammunition costs or range time.

ABOUT THE MODEL (MANTIS TITANX SMART LASER TRAINING PISTOL)

The Mantis TitanX Smart Laser Training Pistol is available in three variants, each emulating the functional features of a different Glock pistol:

• TitanX 700 (MT-7002) – based on the Glock 17
• TitanX 701 (MT-7012) – based on the Glock 19
• TitanX 702 (MT-7022) – based on the Glock 45

Each variant is designed to fit most holsters made for the corresponding Glock model, so the TitanX can be used with the shooter's existing holster and belt setup, making draw, presentation and reholstering practice realistic.

The resetting trigger is the core of the design. It closely replicates the weight, break and reset of a stock trigger and resets itself after each press, so repeated shots, follow-up shots and cadence drills can be practised without breaking grip to rack the slide. On every trigger break, the 650 nm red laser shows exactly where the shot would have landed, providing immediate visual feedback on sight alignment and trigger control. The laser also works with Mantis Laser Academy (sold separately) and many other laser-based training systems, and the pistol can be used as a standalone laser trainer as well.

The integrated MantisX sensor connects to the free MantisX Pistol/Rifle app via Bluetooth. Beyond standard trigger control drills, the app provides dynamic shooting drills analysing target transitions (transition, over travel and delay on target), rapid fire drills with a shot timer, Holster Draw Analysis including a multi-shot version exclusive to TitanX, and a magazine detection switch that enables the TitanX-exclusive Magazine Exchange Analysis and the 1R1 drill. The two included weighted magazines support realistic reload training.

The slide features an RMR/Shield RMS/RMSc optic footprint for training with a red dot sight. Note that some sights, including the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Trijicon RMRcc, Holosun SCS 320 and Sig Romeo 2, are confirmed by the manufacturer as not compatible. The pistol charges via USB-C.
