MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, Heym SR 20, SR Rail

• Pivot upper for Swarovski SR rail: This upper assembly is built for scopes with the Swarovski SR rail, giving a secure, repeatable interface without separate rings and helping keep alignment consistent during installation.
• 15.50 mm build height: The relatively low 15.50 mm height supports a compact scope position over the rifle, which helps maintain a natural cheek weld and a balanced sight picture.
• Adjustable windage: Built-in windage adjustment allows the mount to be centered to the rifle more precisely, reducing the need to use excessive scope adjustment and preserving more internal correction range.
• Steel construction: The steel body is suited to a pivot-mount system that is repeatedly attached and removed, providing the rigidity and wear resistance needed for long-term use in the field.
• 0 MOA inclination: With 0 MOA cant, this mount is a practical choice for general hunting and everyday sporting rifles where a neutral scope setup is preferred.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional line of two-piece pivot mounts for rifles and break-action firearms. The series was documented in MAK catalogues by 2019 and is built around a classic detachable mounting concept that suits hunters who want a low, clean installation with the option to remove and refit the optic. Within the range, MAK offers versions with rotating locks and lever locks, along with configurations for both scope tubes and optic rails, so the system can be matched to different rifles and optic formats.

The series is defined by its model-specific approach. MAKlassic mounts are catalogued for specific rifle models, and the line includes different mount heights and front-foot offsets to help achieve the right optic position for the firearm and the intended use. In practice, that makes the series especially relevant for traditional hunting rifles where handling, loading clearance, and a low line of sight matter as much as secure attachment. The result is a mount family that emphasizes a classic pivot design, repeatable fit, and compatibility with a wide range of rifle actions and optic interfaces.

About the MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, Heym SR 20, SR Rail

The MAKlassic Pivot upper parts for the Heym SR 20 with SR Rail interface are the upper mounting components for a classic pivot setup, intended for pairing with the appropriate lower bases on the rifle. This version is configured for the Swarovski SR rail, which makes it a strong match for hunters who prefer rail-mounted optics over conventional ring-mounted scopes. A rail interface simplifies alignment and provides a broad, stable contact surface, which is particularly useful on rifles that are expected to keep their zero after repeated removal and reinstallation.

Its 15.50 mm height keeps the optic mounted relatively low, helping preserve natural head position and fast target acquisition in field shooting positions. The 0 MOA inclination favors a neutral setup for typical hunting distances rather than a specialized long-range cant. This makes the mount well suited to stalking, driven hunting, and general sporting use where straightforward sight-in and practical handling are more important than extended elevation bias.

A key functional detail is the adjustable windage, which allows the mount to be centered more precisely to the rifle and optic combination. That can help reduce unnecessary reticle offset during zeroing and leave more of the scope’s internal adjustment available. The use of steel construction supports the durability expected from a pivot mount, especially where repeated locking and unlocking place long-term demands on the contact surfaces.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, serving civilian and government markets that include hunters, sports shooters, and professional users. Its product range combines standardized catalog products with customized solutions for more specialized applications.

Within the shooting-optics field, MAK is known for a broad mounting portfolio as well as related sighting products. The group identifies patented solutions among its optics, mounts, and electronics, reflecting a design focus on practical mechanical function. Its lines include MAKuick quick-release mounts, MAKmilmont monoblock mounts for Picatinny rails, and optics families such as MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, and MAKpro riflescopes. That background makes MAK particularly relevant in categories where secure optic attachment and repeatable mounting are central to field performance.
