Levenhuk Karma PLUS 8x25

• Compact roof-prism design: The slim single-hinge body packs easily into a jacket pocket or day bag, making these binoculars practical for travel, hiking, and everyday sightseeing where bulk matters.
• 8x magnification with 25 mm objectives: This configuration gives useful reach for wildlife, city observation, and events while keeping the binoculars lighter and easier to carry than larger full-size models.
• Wide 143.50 m/1000m field of view: A broad view makes it easier to scan landscapes, follow moving subjects, and quickly pick up details without feeling restricted by a narrow image.
• Fully multicoated optics: The lens coatings help reduce light loss and improve contrast, which supports a clearer, more natural image in mixed daylight conditions and during overcast weather.
• Waterproof, nitrogen-filled housing: The sealed construction and nitrogen filling help prevent internal fogging and make the binoculars more dependable when moving between temperatures or using them in wet conditions.

About the Levenhuk Karma Plus Series

Levenhuk Karma Plus is the more advanced branch of the Karma binocular family, developed as a compact roof-prism line for active users who want travel-friendly dimensions without giving up practical field performance. Introduced during Levenhuk’s 2015 product-line renewal, the series combines a portable format with features usually expected from more substantial binoculars. Across the range, the models use BaK-4 glass optics and three-element eyepieces, a combination intended to deliver a cleaner, more controlled image than basic compact binoculars.

The series is built around waterproof, nitrogen-filled housings that help resist internal fogging in poor weather, which suits hiking, tourism, and general outdoor observation. Its light-gray rubber-armored bodies are designed for secure handling, while the user-adjustable layout accommodates different interpupillary settings and individual eyesight correction. With models spanning 8x, 10x, and 12x magnification and objective sizes from 25 mm to 42 mm, the Karma Plus family covers everything from pocket binoculars for travel to more versatile all-round field glasses.

About the Levenhuk Karma PLUS 8x25

Levenhuk Karma PLUS 8x25 is the most travel-oriented expression of the series: a compact binocular built for users who need real optical capability in a format that is easy to carry all day. Its 8x magnification is a sensible choice for sightseeing, nature walks, and sporting events because it brings distant subjects closer without making the image overly sensitive to hand shake. Paired with a 25.00 mm objective lens, it keeps the binocular slim and portable while still offering enough brightness for normal daytime use.

A key strength of this model is its 143.50 m/1000m field of view, which helps when scanning broad scenes or tracking moving subjects. The Roof - Schmidt/Pechan prism system supports the narrow body shape that makes pocket binoculars convenient in the first place, while the fully multicoated optics help preserve contrast and image clarity. Central focusing keeps operation quick and intuitive, and the -4 / +4 diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece allows the binocular to be tuned to the user’s eyesight.

In practical use, the housing matters as much as the optics. This model is waterproof, fogproof, and nitrogen-filled, so it is better prepared for damp mornings, changing temperatures, and travel conditions than an unsealed compact binocular. At 600.00 g and with dimensions of 116.00 x 110.00 x 43.00 mm, it remains easy to stow, while the single-hinge design keeps handling straightforward and compact.

About Levenhuk

Levenhuk began operations in 2002, initially focusing on markets outside the United States. The company describes itself as an American manufacturer of optical instruments with headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Its catalogue covers a broad spread of observation equipment, including binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, monoculars, and microscopes, which gives the brand a wide base in consumer and enthusiast optics.

Within binoculars, Levenhuk organizes its range into established families such as Atom, Karma, Sherman, and Vegas, each aimed at different uses and price levels. The company also extends into more specialized categories, including thermal scopes and digital night-vision devices, showing a focus on practical field optics rather than a single niche. Levenhuk states that its manufacturing facilities are in China, and its product range reflects an emphasis on accessible optical equipment with category-specific lines for travel, outdoor observation, and general-purpose use.
