Leupold IMS Mount Bolt-Action, 35 mm

• 35 mm one-piece mount: Built for large maintube riflescopes, this integral design keeps both rings aligned in a single unit, helping preserve a secure fit and reducing variables that can affect consistency.
• Bolt-action geometry: The mount is shaped to provide bolt-handle and bolt-throw clearance, so the rifle cycles freely without the optic interfering with operation.
• 1.5-inch optic centerline: This height is well suited to chassis-style long-range rifles, promoting a more natural cheek weld and steadier head position behind the scope.
• Picatinny rail interface: Designed for Picatinny platforms, it gives a straightforward and repeatable mounting solution for rifles set up for precision shooting or tactical optics.
• Made in the USA: Domestic production and robust construction make this mount a practical choice for rifles that see regular field use, transport, and recoil stress.

About the Leupold Mark IMS Rings Series

Leupold Mark IMS Rings are part of the company’s Integral Mounting System family, developed to solve mounting problems that conventional ring-and-base combinations do not always address as neatly. The series is designed around a one-piece concept that simplifies alignment while giving the optic a purposeful position on the rifle. Within the range, Leupold offers versions for both AR-style rifles and bolt-action receivers, as well as options with zero cant or 20 MOA where the application calls for it.

In Leupold’s lineup, the Mark IMS family sits on the practical side of tactical and precision-oriented mounting hardware. It is intended for shooters using modern rifles and larger maintube optics who need dependable fit, repeatable positioning, and enough clearance for real-world use. AR-oriented models use a forward cantilever layout to help with eye relief, while bolt-action versions adapt the same integrated approach to receiver geometry and cycling clearance. The series also covers multiple tube sizes, including 34 mm and 35 mm, making it relevant for larger riflescopes commonly chosen for long-range and precision shooting setups.

About the Leupold IMS Mount Bolt-Action, 35 mm

The Leupold IMS Mount Bolt-Action, 35 mm is a fixed one-piece scope mount made for shooters using a 35 mm maintube optic on a bolt-action rifle with a Picatinny rail. Its defining advantage is not just tube compatibility, but the way its geometry is tailored to the rifle’s action. By accommodating bolt throw and bolt-handle clearance, it allows the rifle to cycle fully and reliably without the optic getting in the way. That matters on precision rifles where a large eyepiece, oversized turrets, or a broad saddle can otherwise create interference.

The mount also places the center of the scope at 1.5 in, a height that works especially well on chassis-style long-range rifles. In practice, this helps create a more natural cheek weld and more consistent head placement behind the optic, both of which support repeatable sight picture and steadier shot execution. The one-piece layout further helps keep ring alignment straightforward, which is useful when mounting heavier tactical optics with larger tubes.

With a length of 145.70 mm and a robust integral format, this Leupold mount is suited to rifles built for precision shooting, tactical use, or extended range work. It is made in the USA and is intended as a stable interface between rifle and optic, giving the scope the clearance, height, and support needed for a dependable long-range setup.

About Leupold

Leupold & Volpel was founded in 1907 in Portland, Oregon, by Fred Leupold and Adam Volpel. The company later introduced its first riflescope, the Plainsman, in 1947, and in 1962 it brought out the Duplex reticle, a design that became widely recognized in sporting optics. Leupold moved its manufacturing plant and headquarters to Beaverton, Oregon, in 1968, where the company remains based.

Today, Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is a family-owned American manufacturer focused on sport optics for hunting, shooting, and outdoor use. Its product range includes riflescopes, red dot sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, and thermal optics. Within that lineup, Leupold is particularly well known for its VX-series hunting scopes and Mark-series tactical optics, making it a natural fit for precision-oriented mounting systems such as the IMS family.
