Kozap Slip-On Base, CZ 512

• Rifle-specific fit for the CZ 512: This slip-on base is made for the CZ 512 platform, giving a secure starting point for scope mounting without resorting to a generic rail solution.
• Compatible with the Kozap Ø 8 mm interface: It works with Kozap’s matching upper interface, so the base can be paired with the appropriate rings or mount components for a complete optic setup.
• Low-profile fixed design: A dedicated fixed base keeps the mounting arrangement simple and stable, which helps maintain consistent scope alignment on a rimfire or small-caliber rifle used for regular field shooting.
• One-piece slip-on construction: The single-piece format provides a straightforward mounting foundation and reduces unnecessary complexity when building a practical hunting or sporting rifle setup.
• Made in the Czech Republic: Czech production is closely tied to Kozap’s long focus on firearm mounting hardware, making this base a natural match for European rifle platforms and traditional hunting optics.

About the Kozap Bases Series

Kozap Bases is the rifle-specific foundation line within the company’s scope-mount catalog, intended for shooters who need a mounting solution matched to a particular firearm rather than a universal adapter. The series centers on dedicated bases for individual rifle models, which helps preserve proper fit and gives the user a clear path to building a complete optic mount around the rifle’s own interface.

Within the range, KOZAP lists options for platforms such as the CZ 512, CZ 527, Brno 802, Brno Effect, and Brno ZKM 611. Some versions are offered in one-piece and two-piece configurations, while the broader catalog also includes CLASSIC and ALFA designs, with ALFA identified as a quick-release system. A defining characteristic of the base line is that certain models are sold as the base only, allowing the shooter to select the matching upper components separately. That approach suits hunters and sporting users who want a rifle-specific lower mount while retaining flexibility in ring height or optic choice.

About the Kozap Slip-On Base, CZ 512

The Kozap Slip-On Base, CZ 512 is a dedicated fixed base for shooters who want to mount an optic on the CZ 512 using a rifle-specific solution rather than a generic rail. Its role is straightforward but important: it creates the lower mounting platform that mates the rifle to compatible Kozap upper components, forming the basis of a stable scope installation for hunting optics or general sporting use.

This model is designed around the Kozap Ø 8 mm interface, which means it is intended to work within Kozap’s own mounting system. In practice, that gives the user a clear and consistent route when assembling a complete mount, especially when ring choice or upper mount configuration needs to match a particular riflescope. Because it is a slip-on base, the design stays compact and close to the rifle, helping avoid unnecessary bulk while keeping the optic mounting arrangement simple.

The one-piece fixed format is well suited to shooters who value a solid, uncomplicated setup. On a rifle such as the CZ 512, that matters for repeatable alignment and everyday usability, whether the rifle is being configured for small-game hunting, range practice, or a practical field optic. Finished in black and made in the Czech Republic, this base fits naturally into Kozap’s long-established approach to rifle-specific scope mounting hardware.
