Hikmicro HIKCam A7E

• High-frame-rate 4K recording: The HIKCam A7E records up to 4K @60fps, giving smoother motion and clearer detail when reviewing fast shooting sequences, training drills, or outdoor action footage.
• Multiple slow-motion modes: With recording options including 2.7K @120fps and 1080p @120fps, the camera makes it easier to analyze recoil, target transitions, and movement frame by frame.
• Compact, lightweight body: At 139.00 g and just 103.50 mm long, the A7E adds minimal bulk to a shooting setup and is easier to carry for long sessions in the field.
• Waterproof construction: The waterproof housing helps the camera keep working in rain, mud, and damp hunting conditions, making it more suitable for outdoor use than a general-purpose camera.
• Video and image capture in one unit: The A7E supports both video recording and image capture, so it can document full sessions as well as still moments without changing devices.

About the HIKCam Series

The HIKCam series brings HIKMICRO into the action-camera segment with a design aimed at users who want to document outdoor activity in a compact format. Within the brand’s broader outdoor lineup, which is better known for thermal and digital imaging devices, HIKCam serves a different role: it focuses on visible-light recording for training, field documentation, and general action use. That makes it relevant not only for outdoor recreation, but also for shooting applications where reviewing footage can be as useful as capturing the experience itself.

The series is defined by high-resolution video modes, support for high frame rates, and a body built for use outside controlled environments. In practical terms, that means smoother playback of fast movement, better detail when pausing footage, and a form factor that is easier to integrate into a gear bag or carry through a full day outdoors. The design philosophy is straightforward: keep the camera small, light, and weather-ready while offering recording formats that are useful for both immediate sharing and detailed review afterward.

About the Hikmicro HIKCam A7E

The Hikmicro HIKCam A7E is a compact action camera built for users who need clear footage of fast movement without adding much weight to their equipment. Its headline capability is 4K @60fps, which gives the camera enough resolution for detailed playback while keeping motion smooth enough for dynamic scenes. For shooting practice, hunting camp footage, or general outdoor recording, that combination is useful because it preserves both context and fine detail when reviewing what happened.

The camera also supports a wide range of high-frame-rate recording modes, including 2.7K @120fps and 1080p @120fps. These settings are especially practical when the goal is not just to record, but to study movement more closely. Slow-motion playback can help break down transitions, body position, or the sequence of events around a shot, making the A7E relevant for training as well as recreation. The ability to capture still images alongside video adds flexibility when a single frame is enough to document a setup or result.

Physically, the A7E stays easy to handle thanks to its 103.50 mm length and 139.00 g weight. That compact format matters in the field, where a camera that is too large or heavy often gets left behind. Its waterproof construction further supports outdoor use by helping the camera cope with wet weather and rougher conditions. Powered by AA batteries, it also uses a familiar power source that is easy to replace when traveling or spending extended time away from charging options.

About Hikmicro

HIKMICRO was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company is primarily known for its work in thermal imaging, while also developing expertise in visible-light imaging, ultrasonic technology, electromagnetic technology, and radar. In the outdoor optics segment, its range includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal clip-ons, digital day-and-night scopes, and multispectrum binoculars.

Several of the brand’s established product families show the breadth of that lineup, including LYNX, FALCON, and CONDOR thermal monoculars, STELLAR and THUNDER thermal scopes, and the ALPEX digital day-and-night scope series. This background is relevant to the HIKCam A7E because it places the camera within a manufacturer already focused on field imaging equipment designed for outdoor use.
