Hi VIZ LiteWave Interchangeable Rear Sight, CZ 75, 85, P-01

• Interchangeable LitePipes: The rear sight accepts reusable LitePipes, so the sight picture can be tuned with green, red, or black inserts to suit lighting conditions, target contrast, or personal preference.
• LiteWave exoskeleton design: The diagonal-wave housing exposes more of the fiber to ambient light while shielding it inside a steel body, giving a brighter aiming reference without sacrificing durability.
• All-steel construction: A steel sight body stands up well to regular carry, range use, and repeated slide cycling, making it a practical upgrade for hard-use CZ pistols.
• Fixed rear sight format: This configuration preserves a simple, snag-resistant setup for defensive, training, and general shooting use where a stable zero matters more than on-sight adjustment.
• Made for CZ fixed-sight pistols: Built to fit CZ 75, 85, and P-01 pistols with fixed rear sights, it offers a model-specific solution rather than a generic rear sight that may compromise fit.

About the Hi Viz LITEWAVE Series

Hi Viz LITEWAVE is a fiber-optic sight family developed to give shooters a brighter, more adaptable sight picture in a durable format for everyday handgun and rifle use. Introduced in November 2014, the series is built around interchangeable LitePipes, allowing the user to change sight colors instead of being locked into a single configuration. That flexibility is useful across competition, recreational shooting, training, hunting, and general daytime or low-light field use.

A defining feature of the series is the diagonal-wave exoskeleton, which leaves more of the LitePipe exposed to ambient light while still protecting it inside the sight body. In practice, this helps the fiber gather light efficiently and produce a clear aiming reference without making the sight fragile. The LITEWAVE line includes both front and rear configurations, with handgun models especially known for their holster-friendly shape and practical, no-nonsense layout. Across the series, the emphasis stays on visible fiber-optic performance, reusable sight elements, and robust construction suited to regular use on working firearms.

About the Hi VIZ LiteWave Interchangeable Rear Sight, CZ 75, 85, P-01

The Hi VIZ LiteWave Interchangeable Rear Sight for CZ 75, 85, and P-01 is a dedicated rear-sight upgrade for shooters who want a brighter reference point than a plain black notch, while keeping the familiar handling of a fixed rear sight. Because it is made for CZ 75, 85, and P-01 pistols with fixed rear sights, it suits owners looking for a cleaner installation match on these specific handguns rather than adapting a universal part.

The key advantage of this model is its interchangeable LitePipe system. With green and red LitePipes available for the rear sight, the shooter can tailor the sight picture to background conditions, range lighting, or the front-sight combination being used. That matters in practice because contrast is often what makes the sights easier to pick up quickly, especially on dark targets or in mixed outdoor light. The 3-dot alignment layout also gives a familiar reference for shooters who prefer a conventional handgun sight picture.

Its LiteWave exoskeleton is more than a styling detail. By exposing the fiber along angled surfaces, it helps the sight gather ambient light from multiple directions, improving visibility in normal daylight without relying on batteries or electronic illumination. At the same time, the all-steel construction protects the fiber system better than a more open design and provides the strength expected from a carry or range pistol sight. The square rear notch keeps the sight picture precise and easy to center, making this rear sight a practical fit for training, recreational shooting, and general-purpose handgun use.

About HiViz

HiViz began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of firearm sighting systems and accessories. Based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, the company focuses on sights for handguns, shotguns, and rifles, with product lines that include fiber-optic sights, tritium sights, recoil pads, and related shooting accessories. Its reputation in this category is closely tied to practical visibility upgrades for factory firearms rather than complex electronic systems.

Within handgun sights, HiViz is particularly known for its removable and reusable LitePipes, which let shooters replace or change fiber-optic elements without replacing the entire sight. The company also developed the LiteWave format with its protective exoskeleton design, and later expanded the concept into LiteWave H3 models that combine tritium with fiber optics. Other sight families such as TriViz and CompSight show the same focus on visible, application-specific sight pictures for different firearms and shooting styles.
