Henneberger Pair of Rings for Pivot and HMS SAMO Mount, 25.4 mm Product description

  • 25.4 mm ring diameter: Built for standard 1 inch riflescope tubes, these rings provide a secure fit for many classic hunting optics without forcing a move to a different tube standard.
  • Compatible with pivot and HMS SAMO systems: The ring set is made for Henneberger-style detachable mounting solutions, making it practical for replacing upper parts while keeping an existing base on the rifle.
  • Steel construction: A steel body gives the rings the rigidity needed to keep the optic stable under recoil and repeated removal and reinstallation.
  • Ø 8 mm interface compatibility: Compatibility with several common Ø 8 mm pivot-style interfaces helps when matching these upper parts to existing bases from different makers.
  • Black finish: The subdued black surface keeps the mounting setup visually discreet and well matched to most rifles and scope finishes.

About the Henneberger HMS Samo Series

Henneberger HMS Samo is a detachable mount series developed for rifles that use a Blaser saddle mount interface. Within the range, Henneberger offers versions for both riflescopes and red-dot sights, which makes the system relevant to traditional hunting rifles as well as more compact driven-hunt setups. The series is built around a practical idea: give the shooter a repeatable quick-detach mounting solution that can be adapted to different optics without changing the basic mounting concept.

For riflescope use, the HMS Samo family covers a wide spread of tube sizes, including 25.4 mm, 26 mm, 30 mm, 34 mm, 36 mm and 40 mm, while other upper-part options are available for rail-mounted optics and compact sight footprints. The series is described as milled from solid steel, with an emphasis on recoil resistance and repeatable return to zero after removal and reattachment. In practice, that makes HMS Samo a sensible choice for shooters who want one mounting platform that supports different optics while maintaining the robust feel expected from steel hunting-optics mounts.

About the Henneberger Pair of Rings for Pivot and HMS SAMO Mount, 25.4 mm

This Henneberger Pair of Rings for Pivot and HMS SAMO Mount, 25.4 mm is a dedicated upper-part solution for mounting a 1 inch riflescope tube on compatible pivot-style and HMS SAMO mounting systems. It is intended for shooters who already have a suitable lower interface and need a correctly sized ring set rather than a complete mount. That makes it especially useful when adapting an existing rifle to a different optic while preserving the established base system.

The use of steel construction is important here because ring alignment and clamping stability matter as much as the base itself. A rigid steel ring set helps the scope stay secure under recoil and supports consistent positioning after repeated removal and refitting. The KR 0.0 mm extension keeps the configuration straightforward, with no built-in offset, which suits conventional scope mounting positions where the optic already aligns correctly with the rifle and shooting position.

Compatibility is another strong point. These rings are designed for optics with a 25.4 mm (1 inch) tube and fit lower parts using the Ø 8 mm interface found on Henneberger and several other established pivot-mount patterns. For the shooter, that broad interface compatibility can simplify replacement or reconfiguration work without changing the entire mounting setup. The black finish and clean, functional design keep the assembly in line with the restrained look expected from quality hunting-optics mounting hardware.

About Henneberger

Henneberger was founded by master gunsmith Rudolf Henneberger on November 29, 1966 in Münnerstadt, Germany. The company remains based in Münnerstadt, Bavaria, and is closely associated with gunsmithing, firearm repairs and mounting systems for riflescopes and red-dot sights. That background is important in this product category because it reflects a business built around the mechanical fit between rifle, mount and optic rather than around optics alone.

Over time, Henneberger expanded its manufacturing capabilities, adding CNC machining in 2000. Frank Henneberger took over the business on January 1, 2004, and the company later moved to a newly built facility in October 2009, with a further expansion in 2017. Today, Henneberger is known for practical German-made mounting components and scope-mount systems designed for repeatable attachment, solid mechanical engagement and compatibility across a wide range of hunting and shooting applications.

Henneberger HMS Swift, spare rings.
Hi,
I'm searching for spare rings to my Henneberger HMS Swift, 25,4/26mm.
I need both front and rear rings (2 rings) with a build height of 14,5mm.
I think the part number for the complete mount is 90261500-486.
Is this something that is avalible and what would it cost?

Kind regards,

by Jon

You can take a look at the desired rings on the page below.

https://www.optics-trade.eu/en/henneberger-25-4-mm-rings-for-pivot-and-hms-samo-mount.html

In order to gain a BH height of 14.5 mm you will need to choose the BH height of 5 mm with these rings. Please note that the base of the Swift base is approximately 9.5 mm.
