GRS Sporter Laminate Stock, CZ 452

• Adjustable fit for steadier shooting: The adjustable cheekpiece and 363.00 mm length of pull help align the eye naturally behind the optic, improving head position and making repeatable shots easier from field and competition positions.
• Laminate construction with practical stiffness: The laminate stock combines good rigidity with stable handling, which helps the rifle feel consistent under recoil and during long shooting sessions in changing outdoor conditions.
• Varmint barrel channel for heavy-barrel setups: The 0,86 in (22 mm) varmint barrel channel gives the CZ 452 a stock profile suited to rifles built for supported shooting, training, and precision-oriented rimfire use.
• Ergonomic grip and textured contact surfaces: The pronounced grip shape and added grip texture give the firing hand a more secure hold, which helps maintain trigger control whether shooting prone, from sticks, or offhand.
• Built for hunting and competition crossover use: Designed for competition, driven hunt, and stalking, this stock balances field carry with the adjustability and support normally associated with more target-focused rifle furniture.

About the GRS Sporter Series

GRS Sporter is a birch-laminate rifle stock series developed as an all-round option for shooters who want one stock to cover both hunting and range use. Within the GRS lineup, the Sporter sits as a versatile laminate design that combines the traditional feel of a shaped rifle stock with the fit advantages of an adjustable platform. It is aimed at shooters who move between driven hunts, stalking, and competition, where a stock has to handle quickly in the field but still provide a stable, repeatable shooting position.

A defining feature of the series is the GRS SpeedLock adjustment system, paired with an adjustable length of pull and cheekpiece. That combination lets the stock adapt to different body sizes, clothing layers, optics heights, and shooting positions without turning the rifle into a bulky chassis-style setup. The Sporter series is built around practical ergonomics, a supportive grip shape, and a fore-end suited to controlled shooting from bags, bipods, or improvised rests. In the GRS range, it fills the role of a laminate stock for shooters who want a more fitted rifle without giving up the familiar handling qualities valued in hunting stocks.

About the GRS Sporter Laminate Stock, CZ 452

The GRS Sporter Laminate Stock, CZ 452 gives the classic CZ rimfire action a more adjustable and supportive platform for training, small-game hunting, and precision-oriented field shooting. The combination of a laminate stock body, right-hand configuration, and a varmint 0,86 in (22 mm) diameter barrel channel makes it especially well suited to CZ 452 rifles set up with heavier barrels or optics for supported shooting. On a rimfire rifle that may be used for long practice sessions, that added structure helps the rifle settle more naturally on bags, bipods, or improvised rests.

The stock’s biggest practical advantage is fit. With an adjustable cheekpiece and a 363.00 mm length of pull, it is easier to build a consistent head position behind a scope, which matters for both comfort and repeatable accuracy. The textured grip surfaces improve control when shooting from standing positions or when weather makes bare wood harder to hold securely. A glass bedding setup and the stated 3.50 nm torque setting reflect a stock intended to support stable action fit and predictable assembly.

At 1380.00 g and 760.00 mm overall length, this model remains manageable as a field stock while offering more adjustment than a conventional fixed hunting stock. Its application range of competition, driven hunt, and stalking makes sense for shooters who use the CZ 452 as both a practical trainer and a capable field rimfire.

About GRS

GRS began in 2010 in Grodås, Hornindal, Norway, growing out of a family business that started in 1983 as Grodås Møbler AS, a furniture manufacturer. That background is relevant to the brand’s rifle stocks because it combines woodworking experience with a strong focus on fit, shaping, and practical ergonomics. GRS specializes in rifle stocks for hunting and shooting, and its range includes laminate, composite, and aluminum chassis designs.

The company is best known for stock lines such as Hunter Light, Sporter, Bifrost, Fenris, Warg, and Ragnarok, covering everything from traditional hunting rifles to more competition-oriented platforms. GRS also developed the SpeedLock adjustment system used on its rifle stocks, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on fast, tool-light stock adjustment. With headquarters in Hornindal, Norway, GRS has built its reputation around stocks that improve rifle fit and shooting consistency without abandoning practical field handling.
