GRS Sporter Laminate Stock, Bergara B14 LA HMR

• Adjustable fit: The GRS SpeedLock cheekpiece and length-of-pull system let the stock be set to the shooter and optic setup, helping achieve a more repeatable head position and steadier trigger control.
• Laminated birch construction: The laminate stock body combines stiffness with good dimensional stability, which is useful for hunting and competition rifles that need consistent handling across changing weather conditions.
• Varmint barrel channel: The 0,86 in (22 mm) diameter barrel channel is suited to heavier-profile barrels, giving this inlet a practical match with precision-oriented Bergara B14 LA HMR builds.
• Field-to-range versatility: Designed for competition, driven hunt, and stalking, this stock blends a supportive shooting position with a shape that still carries well outside the range.
• Textured ergonomic grip: The added grip texture improves purchase in wet or cold conditions, supporting more secure rifle control during positional shooting and fast field handling.

About the GRS Sporter Series

GRS Sporter is a birch-laminate rifle stock series built as an all-round option for shooters who want one stock to cover both hunting and competition use. In the GRS lineup, the Sporter sits as a traditional stock with modern adjustability, combining a classic rifle profile with the brand’s focus on shooter fit and practical field ergonomics. GRS presents it for driven hunts, stalking, and competition shooting, which explains its balance of carry-friendly form and stable shooting support.

A defining feature of the series is GRS SpeedLock, paired with an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull. That matters because the stock can be tuned quickly to different body sizes, clothing layers, and optic heights without turning the rifle into a bulky chassis-style system. The Sporter is also offered in four color options, giving the series a broad appeal across hunting rifles and target-oriented builds. Overall, the Sporter series is aimed at shooters who want the warmth and rigidity of laminate, a more vertical grip geometry than a conventional hunting stock, and straightforward adjustability that supports consistent eye alignment and recoil management.

About the GRS Sporter Laminate Stock, Bergara B14 LA HMR

The GRS Sporter Laminate Stock, Bergara B14 LA HMR is tailored for the Bergara B14 long-action HMR platform, giving that action a stock designed around adjustability, stability, and broad use across hunting and target work. Its laminate construction provides a solid, planted feel on the rifle, which is especially useful when shooting from supported positions, bipods, or improvised rests. At the same time, the shape remains practical for field carry, making it suitable for stalking and driven hunting where the rifle still needs to move naturally in the hands.

The stock’s 363.00 mm length of pull and adjustable cheekpiece are central to how it performs in practice. Proper comb height helps the eye fall into line with the scope more naturally, while the adjustable fit can improve comfort during longer sessions and make recoil feel more controlled. The 53.00 mm forend width offers a supportive front-end profile for bags or rests, and the varmint 0,86 in (22 mm) diameter barrel channel suits heavier-barrel configurations commonly chosen for precision-oriented rifles.

Glass bedding and a stated torque setting of 3.50 nm reflect a stock intended for a secure and consistent action fit. Added grip texture supports control in wet weather or with gloves, while the right-hand configuration keeps the geometry focused on a natural firing-hand position. With a maximum caliber of .375 HH, the Sporter also has the strength for substantial chamberings, making it a versatile choice for shooters who want one adjustable laminate stock for both range discipline and serious hunting use.

About GRS

That background helps explain why GRS has a strong reputation for shaping rifle stocks that combine ergonomic thinking with practical production quality. The company specializes in rifle stocks for hunting and shooting and introduced its laminate rifle stocks in 2011.

Today, GRS Riflestocks AS is headquartered in Hornindal and produces laminate, composite, and aluminum chassis stocks. Its range includes lines such as Hunter Light, Sporter, Bifrost, Fenris, Warg, and Ragnarok. A key technology associated with the brand is GRS SpeedLock, an adjustment system developed to make stock fit quicker and easier to set up.
